Amazing stay!
Reviewed By sjuulverhagenSuper clean accomodatie! The bed is really good, bathroom is good and you even have your own terrace! The host is very welcoming and want youbto have the best experience! He also has a tuktuk, so if you need a transfer, you can ask him! Breakfast was delicious, fresh and homemade! The host shares the interest of birds with is so we went exploring the birds together in his garden. He also introduced us to his neighbors, where we could see a babpy parrot nest in their garden. It was an amazing stay! Thank you very much? Ps. What you see on the pictures is really what you get! We even made some new pictures of the garden and the outside so everything is up to date!

Reviewed By willywalkaboutLet me clear: The actual hotel/guesthouse is very nice and comfortable. And the owners are cheerful and pleasant. However, I also booked my safari to the park with them and it was not good. I was told my driver was also the guide and he would speak English. Outside of words like, " bird", "buffalo", "peacock" he had no English skills. I also offered to go with others into the park but the owners of Cassia insisted I go in their vehicle and that I'd be the only one going. Well, at the park entrance going solo equates to paying a significantly higher entrance fee, something the owners should have/could have relayed to me but did not. It all ended up to be a lot of $$ for a sub-par experience. The park was just okay but the elephants hardly seemed very wild and all the vehicles surrounded too close to singular animals. My opinion: sat at Cassia to sleep but book your safari (if you must) with someone else. Better yet, save your money for a real safari to see wild elephants in Africa.

Reviewed By 745dilshanhI selected Hantara udawalawe for 1 night stay. From the welcoming till departure they done the perfect services. Large room with rain shower I really like to stay one more day. Next time I will select Hantara for long stay. Foods and drinks excellent. Very calm full location. To my UK friends I send this message "If you visit udawalawe this is the property to stay " Thank for all services and best of luck to Hantara.

Very nice hotel with an amazing pool
Reviewed By VLS1995Beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacey and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, especially in the evening. Food was always very good, high quality and lots of variation. A nice playground for children is also available. Definitiely recommend it!

Reviewed By Kevin SMet with a nice welcoming fruit juice, shown to our room, our safari for tomorrow morning explained, dinner of-fered for later, all very professional and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean, tiled floor, a/c, all very pleasant. Dinner was an amazing array of food for a curry fish with rice, 8 side dishes, and an excellent seafood fried rice. Quantity and quality for about 1600 per person. Breakfast was taken on safari, sandwiches, egg, pancakes, fruit juice and fruit. A mobile breakfast better than many we have been served in the accommodations. The safari provided by Induwaru was similarly excellent. Having been on numerous African safaris this service was on a par, a really excellent service.

Drivers with jeeps belonging to the place to give you a lovely Safari tour. The best place we stayed in during 4 weeks in Sri Lanka. Go there and you will be surprised.

Reviewed By Caitlin HWow! We simply had the best time ever staying for two nights at La Casa! Adith and Sahan made us feel so welcome and made our stay very special. The treehouse room was perfect and clean, it was wonderful to be around so much nature. The garden here is incredible, they even have the Nidikumba shameplant and water lillies!! Adith cooks THE BEST food we have tasted, he is so kind and even let us cook with him to learn how to make his delicious vegetable curries ourselves at home (we LOVED the brinjal and spicy dahl!!). Sahan offers safari tours and took us on a half day tour of the national park, we saw elephants, water buffalos and so many exotic birds, he is very good at spotting the wildlife! After our tour he even took us to bathe in the lake and to see the elephant orphanage. Adith and Sahan made our stay what it was, you must visit this place just to be in the company of these two wonderful people! Thank you, we will be back! Caitlin & James :)

Nice accommodation with safari
Reviewed By janasek007We choose this accommodation for the safari and it was really good choose. We had nice room, good dinner in the evening and at 5:30 deep for safari. For 1/2 day we paid 6000RS for a car + entrance to the park. Was nice experience. when we come back we had also lunch and the guest family helped us to take a bus after. All was nice and good.
