easyHotel Ipswich offers clean and comfortable rooms at a budget price. Located in the town centre, this super budget hotel is an ideal choice for your trip to Ipswich, whether for business or for leisure.
I stayed at easyHotel Ipswich, the members of the staff were incredible and even with hands full they done their best to accommodate me and my partner. The rooms were small but okay to stay and go explore.

The stunning riverside views from our newly refurbished family business with its superior bedrooms and quality stone bathrooms make this the must stay choice for discerning guests looking for hotel accommodation in the area. Five en suite bedrooms are available in the hotel and two further rooms are available in Riverside Lodge across the river from the Bridge Hotel on the other side of the bridge.
Had a very warm welcome from the staff, who seemed to be genuinely interested in us and hoping we’d enjoy our stay. The room was lovely, small but with everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and certainly gave a good nights sleep. The shower was amazing! Could have stayed in there all day! Sadly didn’t make it to breakfast either morning, wedding breakfast the first day then too hungover the second, so can’t possibly comment on that. Will definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Book your stay with us for the best rate, and enjoy all the mod cons of our 28 room lodge accommodation, en-suite bathroom, digital television & free WIFI. If you have friends in the area we would welcome them to join us for breakfast each morning. We boast a varied and extensive menu with a superb daily carvery right at the heart of what we do. The carvery is freshly prepared and offers a choice of three succulent meats carved by our friendly chefs, temptingly displayed alongside a wide range of seasonal vegetables and homemade Yorkshire puddings. At the bar you can choose from a superb selection of Cask Ales from Marston's five breweries, a great wine list featuring choices inc. a vegan wine, an impressive range of ciders, soft drinks and spirits. Our Nescafe Milano coffee range is the ideal accompaniment for one of the fabulous and irresistible giant desserts from our unmissable cake cabinet. Sleep Well Eat Well You'll have a good night sleep at The Mermaid by Marston's Inns
We used this hotel as a stopover. The rooms are very clean and tidy and nice and quiet. It is attached to a pretty good pub restaurant decent pub menu and reasonably priced. this is the second time we have stayed there and will use it again next time we travel to Suffolk,

Sadly we left two days early as the rooms were so small, even though we booked a deluxe studio. The bed was very uncomfortable too. Not recommended for elderly people or anyone with walking difficulties as you have to enter the rooms buy a windy wooden staircase around the back.

Pakefield pontins 70s weekend half board 20/05/22 to 23/05/22 actual stay 20/05/22 to 20/05/22really looking forward to this weekend ,hubby just recovering from cancer operation chemo and radiotherapy so was well needed break to recapture our fave years ..... " the seventies " Oh dear that was the best bit...After 6 and half hour journey arrived at 4 30pm,after sorting out with the ( happy ? ) receptionist where the chalet was,we moved all our luggage there,,car parking not ideal as I have mobility issues and hubby couldnt really carry anything too heavy so had to make a few trips back and to to car, got into chalet and first impression was didnt look the cleanest, looked for cups for much needed drink of tea and there were non. As I always take our own bedding I pulled quilt back to find some lovely skid marks on the sheet disgusted was not the word..went to our happy receptionists to complain and got told " oh just go to services they will give you some new sheets " !!!! I even showed her the picture of it and she was not too phased ( makes me wonder is this a regular thing ?) hubby questioned the fact of why we had to report the disgusting state of the bed never mind change our own sheets,to which he was told " oh ok i will get service to call and change the sheets for you " . The sheet was changed but not the quilt cover, yuk so I thought I would have a look at the rest of the place. The impression I got was that the place had not been touched after the last occupants I have pictures of the beds in the twin room of beds unmade and dents were there had been someone sitting on 1 of the beds. The small kitchen area had crumbs and other stuff ? on worktops and floor, the bathroom looked like it could do with a good scrub and the little beetles and bugs crawling round didnt do much to lighten the mood. By now after such a long journey and upset/disappointment with the place, we had both decided the place was a tip and did not want to stay, went up AGAIN to reception and asked if I could drop the keys in..met with an " oh " and that was it, no offer of help or anything ...again I wondered if this was the norm . now I have never been one to complain about things and we have been on lots of holidays that have been not quite what we expected ,even been to southport pontins a couple of years ago and loved it lol ,but this was a whole new level of disgusting .We put a complaint in to Pontins and got told oh you didnt fill some form in so nothing we can do about your complaint and sent me a quote of how they strive to keep up standards ...bit of a giggle at that I must admit. Anyway after a literally S****y weekend we have admitted defeat and never going to another Pontins ever again. ..Its seems a very shoddy way they treat their customers ...198 pound wasted ...but at least we had a clean bed to sleep in when we got home at 1 am Saturday morning .... If you ever have the need to complain make sure you ask for ( because they didnt offer ) and complete a complaint form while there .I have pictures of the mess and copies of the ridiculous answers to my emails that were sent ..... Live and learn lol ...considering what we have all just been through regarding covid and all safety and hygiene measures we had to follow I must admit I was totally surprised at what we found ... I was worried we could catch botulism never mind covid lol .

Church Farmhouse is a Grade II Listed property in the hamlet of Herringswell, within easy reach of Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. Although not a working farm it is a family home where we are passionate about ensuring your stay with us is peaceful and relaxing.
We stayed at Church Farmhouse for two nights in September 2021. It is in a peaceful location in a small village between Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket. Alison is an excellent host - very welcoming, friendly and chatty in a relaxing way. We were in Rose, a good size double with everything you need - comfortable bed, sofa and large bathroom (bath and separate shower). Alison provides a great breakfast - we can especially recommend the sausages from Newmarket. Highly recommended.

A budget room I can understand that's what we paid for BUT pictures do not tell the full story, beginning of season you shouldn't expect to have flaking paint on the walls, it was dog friendly, so WHY have a dog friendly room at the front door, obviously dog hear every noise and bark, notices up in the room saying CONSIDER OTHER USERS we spend all our time trying to keep the dog quiet, but at eleven o'clock another guest came in like a stampede, same guest next morning at six went out in the same manner.

We stayed in 2 of the rooms which were delightful - spacious and comfortable. We also had dinner in the pub which had a good selection of delicious meals. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and my husband really enjoyed the Adnams beer. We’d definitely recommend a visit.

Recently refurbished throughout, The Bull Inn, Woolpit is a Pub, Restaurant and B&B located in the heart of Suffolk. Our facilities include a friendly bar, pool room, conservatory, restaurant serving breakfast for guests as well as lunch and dinner, large beer garden and free parking for all our guests. The chalet style Bed & Breakfast accommodation is set to the rear of the property attached to a quiet secluded courtyard garden. Our rooms have just been refurbished in summer 2018 and provide comfortable, contemporary accommodation with everything you need for a great stay – all at a superb price! Woolpit sits just off the A14 making it a perfect base to explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Couldn’t sleep because of stuffy atmosphere and uncomfortable bed with few pillows. I am amazed that the room was not serviced during our two night stay, obviously COVID no longer an excuse for really poor service. When an unsafe kettle plug was pointed out, a member of staff said they were aware of it. Problems with the shower base was met with the same response.
