Provence in southeastern France is divided into six departments and stretches from Orange to Nice. Many consider the Luberon in Vaucluse to be the "real Provence." Gently sloping vineyards and lavender fields are the backdrops that enthralled Cezanne, Van Gogh and Chagall. An excellent train network makes travel between cities easy. To explore villages, drive or catch a bus. Particular highlights include Palace of the Popes at Avignon, the Roman amphitheatre at Arles and the craft center of Les Baux.

A stylish small boutique hotel in a beautiful, ancient Provencal village house with a bar, restaurant and heated swimming pool. This beautiful Provencal village house dates back to 1594 (200 years before the French Revolution). The hotel provides our clients with five double ensuite bedrooms, one junior suite and two suites with a bedroom and sitting room. The house is located in the village of Le Brulat and overlooks the boules court. Le Brulat is located within the Rosé wine vineyards, and about fifteen minutes from the picturesque beaches of Bandol and St Cyr sur Mer. The Circuit Paul Ricard, where the French Grand Prix took place in June 2018, is only ten kilometres from the hotel.
We had a quick stopover in the area and had a wonderful at this hotel! Alexandra and Eleonore were amazing and so helpful ! The room was spacious but very cozy at the same time, very nicely decorated. We enjoyed tapas from the wine bar which were delicious ! Very nice breakfast in the morning also. Definitely recommended!

Amazing stay at Destination Ailleurs, the owners are so hospitable and welcoming! The yurts are one of a kind and made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast provided in the morning was great and delivered on the terrace with amazing views. The yurt dinner service is also excellent with wine, main course and dessert delivered straight to the yurts! I would recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing and unique experience close to Castellane:)

Animation is very average, apart from Valentin who was dedicated to his job, as compared to Samia or DJay, very little respect to the guests, and the dance lessons were so lame that made me cry to watch it :) food was very good the first five days, and than we got the leftovers from the first five days ;) that was pity, it ruined our good opinion about the food buffet. The pool is nice, the room is spacious, the terrace is private, but if a neighbor is smoking you'll get the smoke in your room, if you're ventilating. No change of towels or cleaning over the week, which is rather sad. Overall, we didn't pay too much,,so it is ok for our money.

It is rare to find a hotel that is perfect in every way, but we certainly found it in our recent stay at Le Petit Hotel! From the moment you enter you notice the care and attention to detail that the owners have put into the design of this intimate 9 room hotel. Peggy at the front desk warmly greeted us, and gave us lots of information about the charming town of St. Remy, including some wonderful places to eat. Our cozy room was beautiful with an eclectic mix of Art Nouveau and Deco design. The bathroom was bright, colorful and spacious. We especially loved the full delicious breakfast served every morning in the breakfast room or patio, by our gracious hosts. But maybe the best part, was the serene garden and gorgeous pool in the backyard. Everything about this oasis made you want to linger a little longer at Le Petit Hotel. We will think about our stay here for a long time to come, and hopefully return some day.
