We were so very pleased with this motel. Hot breakfast was included in the price which was a breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and bacon plus your choice of yogurts, banana, delicious muffins, juice and coffee. The beds and pillows were comfy. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good price. Located 30 minutes north of Shediac. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! Bouctouche is a beautiful place with a wonderful beach about 15 minutes or less from the motel. Tim Hortons is right next door and there's a great grocery store just up the road. There were a lot of cool antques in the lobby of the motel. There was an outdoor seating area to sit and eat if you'd like. Ice machine available.

I have no real complaints about this hotel and also no real interest in returning. I would look at other options on a return to the area. Having said that, everything in the room was fine. Decor was dated.

I booked a king suite online, but I received a personal call from management advising that they "upgraded" me from suite 204 to 201. The lovely gentleman on the phone indicated that these rooms have been recently renovated a week before and that suite 201 is much nicer, so he wanted to upgrade us. Rate is $179 per night, so between this and the personal call, I was really expecting an amazing stay. Ummm, nope. A "suite" usually consists of a king bed, and a small sitting area. The room is tiny, a king bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (hard as a rock), a little wooden folding chair against the desk with the tv is what you get for the 'suite'. The room looked out onto Main Street (view of Home Hardware and a parking lot) NO BLINDS! There is a spotlight on the roof of the veranda pointing into the room, and all the lights from the parking lot and Home Hardware, so needless to say, the room is bright all night. The glass shower doors have not been installed properly, so they kept coming off the track, so you get stuck in the shower with the door locked up.. So guys, maybe rethink what a "suite" is, get a comfortable mattress, and put some blinds up. We were exhausted the next day from sleeping in dawn like daylight on a hard mattress. The website states that you get plush bathrobes, there were none in our "upgraded suite". I really wish I could have stayed my original room that I booked, at least 204 was in the back of the building, might have been a little darker. So thanks but no thanks for my "upgrade"

Probably my fault for not doing my homework before booking. My room was a very small dorm room with nothing but a sink. Shared bathroom and showers are down the hall.Bed was an extra small single bed. Next time in Saint John for the price of staying here, I will stay elswhere

We are a 140 year old home filled with loads of old world charm and modern comforts. Each room we offer has an ensuite bathroom and comfortable queen bed.
Building exterior is tired but interior is lovely. Period decor and many thoughtful touches. Excellent breakfast. Be aware that this is a shoes-off property. Early risers and early breakfast preparations prevented us from the restful night's sleep we had anticipated. Excellent location for ferry to Digby.

High disappointment. We stayed in a similar dorm in Halifax and were comfortably accommodated and fed. At UNB, the beds were lumpy with boing-y springs that sounded with every move. The room was stifling despite a wide open window. Slamming doors all evening and flushing toilets all night. The breakfast was average with one harried attendant trying to get it set up. Really slow K-cup coffee maker. Sadly, this was a disheartening visit.
