We accommodate at home. Our house is organized to guaranty privacy and independence. A guest living room is available with a TV screen and a DVD reader as well as a Internet connection. You will stay in a "national park" where silence and rest are our goal and usually not easy to find in our busy life. To 30 min from Luxembourg city centre, 10 min from the Arlon train station, 3 min far from the motorway to Metz or Trier, it is also a nice start point to walk along the Gaume countryside way. Looking forward to accommodate you.
Really nice place! In the middle of the countryside, only 10 min from Arlon city. We went for a weekend to celebrate the bday of my boyfriend. The room was comfortable and quiet, we selpt very well. Really good cleaning. Lovely breakfast, friendly enviroment... and a super kind dog called Hippie!!! ?

Highly advertised location but promises just promises – as matter of fact a ‘never to return establishment’ – unless you fancy the stench of cow dung first thing in the morning when opening the window. Upon entering the Guesthouse your first experience will be painful (and continues to get worse) – door frames are perfect for people < 180 cm. I am just 185cm and constantly banged my head somewhere. We had a family room consisting of two bedrooms (Master and Children). The beams in the ‘child’s room’ were 183cm high, in the master room 179cm. No hazard tape anywhere! Good paper listed choice of breakfast – in reality the selection of cheese or ham or jam was precision measured. For each slice of bread half a slice of above mentioned. Other example: - standard boiled egg (anywhere in the world eggs are boiled hard for sanitary reasons), here so soft as if the hen just dropped it and therefore saved the Hosts the effort to heat up some water. Our family room (though we booked it as a couple without children) was advertised and presented so with a sauna. You may guess by now: Fake news! Yes, there is a 2 person home built sauna on the second floor – but only available from 5pm to 7 pm and extra charge of 5E p/p. This is for the sauna only – not even having a tub nor shower. Major highlight was our last day in this location: We were told that one of the beds is needed for a family of five arriving soon. Upps, within minutes the bed was gone….. I want to say that we reserved and paid consciously for a family room for us as a couple without kids, as it was largest room available (with sauna advertised) at time of booking. Sorry for my sarcasm, but it best describes this location. The hosts perfected the art of saving any nickel and dime while attempting to appear the best ***in the area. They also have own Farm products for sale like cheese and marmalade etc…. Be aware, I bought one marmalade to complement the (precision measured breakfast) jam.

Wij komen terug!

Santa Fe Lutrebois is a charming Bed & Breakfast located in a traditional Ardennes country home, formerly the main building of an old farm. The house is hidden away at the back of the small Belgian village of Lutrebois. The Bed & Breakfast is dedicated to the US Army's 35th Infantry Division, nicknamed “Santa Fe”, whose soldiers fought hard against the 5th Parachute Division of Germany over control of the village during the Battle of the Bulge (December 1944 – January 1945). This unit was a part of General Patton's Third Army. The Santa Fe~Lutrebois offers four rooms: one single room, two double rooms and one four-person “family” room, all featuring modern-day conveniences and an ensuite bathroom. Each of the rooms is dedicated to a specific aspect of the Battle of the Bulge (December 1944 – January 1945): “Santa Fe” (the 35th Infantry Division), “Screaming Eagles” (101st Airborne Division), “Bastogne”, and “Patton”.
Marc is a delightful host and provided us with a map and French language article which showed my Father-in-Law's infantry company fought on January 2, 1945 on the very street where the B & B is located. He was severely wounded there and then. He recovered to live a great and long life. Chilling that we stayed within a few yards of that event, and we would never have known if not for Marc's extensive knowledge of the history of the area, and eagerness to share it.

Kamer was schitterend.
