Reviewed By skintbuthappy_8My husband and I took visited here in early May and needed a relaxing break following a difficult year. We stayed in the adults only area in two amazing rooms that had everything we could think of. The outside areas are fabulous and surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. A winding maze of pathways takes you to your rooms and it is quite a walk so we ended up hiring a mobility scooter for my Mum - big shout out to Paul at MobilityMe who delivered this in a couple of hours. The main adult restaurant is lovely and the staff amazing. There is plenty of choice every day. We were a little disappointed we couldn't use it at lunchtime and went in the family restaurant that we found a bit like a cafeteria. the tour operators sell these suites as adults only but they are on a family site so you can't avoid children if you want to try one of the large beautiful pools. Night time entertainment for adults only is a failure I'm afraid. The main room was full of young children and catered for them. The adults bar had a mediocre singer every night and was rather boring. As we were there to relax this didn't bother us too much but could annoy other guests looking for an adult entertainment programme. I should point out that I do love children and have had many, many family holidays abroad but when we booked this we did think it was an adult only complex. The adults pool is small but we loved it and the snack bar was fabulous with a cold buffet available all day and then meals made to order which were all great for lunch. We had one a la carte evening in the Italian restaurant and the food was fantastic. The staff at the Elba work extremely hard. I hope they have more bar staff in peak season as they were run off their feet when we were there! I would definitely return to this hotel - the rooms and setting alone make it a gorgeous place to relax and I may even return with my grandchildren and have the full family experience! Oh, and the spa is fantastic - had a great massage.

Reviewed By gary ci thought the rosamar apartments were really good value for money. the apartment was very good size rooms in all areas also 2 t.v in the apartment in the bedroom and lounge. very good shower in bathroom and also free soap and shampoo. got cleaning service every 2nd day toilet rolls and clean towels. pool area was very nice and clean. with plenty of sunbeds. the service from staff in all areas 1st class. great location local spar shop on door step and only 5 mins from bars and restaurants.

Reviewed By Jane Bwe had apartment 16 for a week. The apartments could not be better located, being on the flat, close to all amenities but still quiet. Our apartment was first floor and had a good sized balcony with a side view of the pool, it was spacious and well laid out. You enter from the street up the stairs into a hallway with the twin room to the left and then the hall leading to the double room, shower room and a very large and light kitchen/diner and lounge. It is worth mentioning that the twin room is a long narrow one and the twin beds are end to end rather than side by side - this may not suit if you are staying as 2 couples- it does have 2 built in wardrobes one at each end of the room. There is a tall fridge freezer lots of cupboard space, iron and hairdryer. The TV had English channels 1-4 and some english radio channels - the wifi was excellent and free. The pool area was clean and we were often the only one's using it, so no issue getting sunbeds- the pool is very small, even smaller than it looks on photo's it is 1.25 metres deep at the shallow end and briefly 1.8 metre at the deeper end. The reasons for not giving a full mark of 5 is mainly the shower cubicle - it has a built in cubicle with a cloth curtain and it is impossible to shower without flooding the floor unless you just hold the shower head the whole time. The second issue is that there are tiny bugs everywhere ( much smaller than ants) you don't see them at first but they were all over the floor and dining table we just lived with them and I am not sure what they could do to get rid of them and we did not get bitten so they are probably pretty harmless but there non-the-less. It is worth saying that there are no toilets around the pool, or changing facilities which was only an issue in planning for our last day. The owners were very accommodating with allowing us to check out late without charge. We had a car and there is on street parking round and about although as with most of the resort it is part of a one-way system

Reviewed By SueH2647We experienced a wonderful relaxing stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The garden rooms have all you need. The pool area is just great. Aqua gym daily with Michal was such fun. We didn’t make the most of the gym or wellness centre but we could see how well the hotel caters for disabled people. Breakfast was delicious as was the lunchtime menu. Basic food is provided in the evening if you don’t feel like venturing into town. The bar is open all day for beer, sangria cocktails if you fancy. There’s mini golf which the children in our party used almost daily. There are other aerobic classes, walks and personal training provided daily. A small shop sells water,sweets etc. We will most definitely be returning.

A solid good hotel
Reviewed By ravendjThe room was clean, the bed a comfortable real double bed. Only minus point - it was rather cold -only a sheet and a thin blanket available was a bit too little late in the season. Breakfast is ok and the host very friendly and trying to accommodate your wishes. Nevertheless, If you want eggs be aware that they might stand around without heating at the buffet. No fresh prep unfortunately. All in all a good deal, good sleep in a calm dead end road, but with still some things to improve.

Reviewed By Jamie CWe did not get to stay here due to the new Covid Strain in UK so i had to cancel and request a full refund, but I am so impressed by this Hotels treatment/understanding of its guests in these circumstances. I've been to all Seven Continents during my travels and the professionalism of this staff is excellent above all else i've experienced even on a mega expensive Antarctica Cruise, I hope to stay at this hotel in the future when I can visit the Canary Islands and anyone reading this I suggest you do the same as we need to keep hotels like this going. To add it is also perfectly located to explore the Timanfaya National Park Hiking Routes which offer the closest landscapes to Mercury, Venus and The Moon on Earth, as I found out on Brian Cox's BBC's The Planets.

The owner was very friendly and happily accommodated our late check in and left us with her number if we needed to make contact regarding attractions, nearby facilities etc. On the last day she kindly booked our taxi to the airport as we were not confident that we would get our booking right with poor Spanish language skills! The kitchen was stocked with a selection of teas and coffee with machine and biscuits - very handy! Location is great with El Reducto Beach only 5 minutes away on foot. There were also beach towels available for us. Large supermarket only two minutes away and also many little cafes serving amazing coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, sandwiches and pastries at very reasonable prices. I would definitely book a stay here with my family again!

Stefano, il proprietario, gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ci ha accolti e invitato a condividere con gli atri ospiti/amici della casa una cena superba. Machot è una località strategica per raggiungere in poco la spiaggia del Papagayo e il Golfo. Consigliatissimo!

Reviewed By himmel_83La situación del apartamento es inmejorable a escasos minutos de la estación de autobuses y en pleno centro; el señor que nos hizo la entrega de llaves también muy amable, y la limpieza bastante correcta. Problema ? Disponen de varios apartamentos (diferentes tipos y precios, como en muchos sitios) pero nos dieron el que no habíamos reservado, quizá por fallo de la página desde donde realizamos la reserva o quizá porque ellos no tenian disponibilidad y por eso nos alojaron allí, o porque las fotos que ponian no eran claras y no correspondían con los apartamentos. La cuestión es que a pesar de transmitir nuestra queja al propietario, no obtuvimos ni una disculpa la cual cosa hace que el trato hacia el cliente no satisfecho no sea precisamente satisfactorio, alegando además que la culpa era nuestra por no saber "reservar correctamente" o como funcionaba el operador (cuando no es la primera reserva que hacemos y nunca hemos tenido un solo problema...). El apartamento en si es una pequeña oficina reconvertida en apartamento, con tv, no tiene vistas al mar, la cama está hundida y se oyen todos los ruidos del edificio y la calle. El Wi-Fi tampoco funcionaba. Como cosa positiva, dispone de un convenio con el parking de el "Gran Hotel" (justo enfrente del edificio) en el que os harán un precio especial, la cual cosa se agradece ya que está ubicado en una zona de díficil aparcamiento y el parking gratuito que hay está en un poco lejos.
