Had a good short stay at Coral View recently. There are many small places to stay strung out along the road from Amed and CV is one of them. You definitely need transport to stay there as the "town" itself is a distance away. The small cottages are very adequate and I particularly liked the large semi exterior bathroom which includes a large tub. Water was hot after it ran a few minutes and the room was clean. Swimming/snorkelling is very close nearby as is the black sand fishermans' beach. Nice pool and grounds. Breakfast was simple but fine.

Alamdhari Resort and Spa, a small resort with fabulous location, nestles perfectly on the sweeping rice terraces of the Sidemen Valley on the tropical island of Bali. Only one and a half hours from the international airport and half an hour from the coast, yet Sidemen represents the true Bali that most people still dream about, the Bali of years gone by. Here, a strong cultural identity and religious beliefs are retained and are reflected throughout the traditional Balinese communities of the Sidemen Valley.
This is a very clean, newer place. The views are amazing. We had family room 216, and the views couldn't be any better. There is a lot of room in the family room, with a separate bedroom (no air con) but it wasn't a problem. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was OK, but still good for it being included in the price of the room. I would highly recommend and would come back. The Sidemen area is so special.

Julianni and her staff were very friendly and helpful, helping to find scooters for us to use for our time in Amed, tips on the area and great to chat with. The rooms were clean and nice and the view from our rooms overlooking the rice paddies, mountains and volcano was outstanding. From the rooftop there was a view of the ocean also and great views of sunrise and sunset over the spectacular vistas.Their dog 'Doggy ' was also very welcoming and came to visit us all the time. Location was a couple of kms from the main Amed stretch so best to have scooter for flexibility or a driver. Meals at Tanaya were delicious.

There is a very calm atmosphere and nice room to meet other travelers. Considering the price a very good value, definitely recommend to anybody! Thank you!!

Safe and Comfortable dive in Amed BaliDivers Cafe Hotel in Amed is a Dive -Center, that offers the highest quality and safety standards in diving to its divers. Because we use use good quality diving equipment and all our dive masters are PADI certified and ADS International certified.
I walked 20 minutes or so from Amed, where I’m staying, to Jemeluk looking for lunch and a place to park my stuff while I snorkeled. This place was perfect. I ate a scrumptious fried rice and satay, parked my gear with the friendly staff and hit the water. The snorkeling is ok - not great or fantastic- and then showered (permission earlier granted) and hit the heavily chlorinated pool. My belongings were undisturbed. Mission accomplished. What it’s like to stay here, I have no idea. And during my afternoon visit, there were many satisfied looking divers, so I guess it’s a pretty good place for that.

· Star East Bungalows are close enough to Jemeluk Bay —we had a motor scooter. The price was lower than other places because it is a bit farther from the bay. Due to it being ‘removed,’ the area is more quiet. If you pay online, before arriving, make sure you have a foto copy ! · The whole property was rather run-down, in age and overall maintenance. In the morning, there was no staff to be found, to ask about water, for example... we did finally find a cleaning person to ask.

Peaceful retreat in beautiful rural setting with spectacular views beside the Unda River. Mix of more traditional natural rooms and more modern. Tasty vegetarian and semi-vegetarian food. Twice-daily optional meditation programme, yoga, guided walks, tours, encounters with traditional Balinese culture available on request.
I wanted to get away from the business of South Bali and stayed at Nirarta Centre for Living Awareness in their secluded river cottage. It was absolutely beautiful with amazing energy. Totally surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of the river. It was paradise! The energy of this place is very special. I had wonderful days in my secluded area. I enjoyed bathing in the sacred river, exploring the beautiful property and gardens, and watching all the beautiful butterflies and birds from the sitting area. The staff were very kind and attentive and even brought me breakfast to my room way down the hill. Excellent service, good food and beautiful environment. I wish I could have stayed longer. This was truly a wonderful and beautiful experience in the "real Bali". Thank you so much Dayu & Staff!

A cozy bungalows, made out of exotic wood with a view to the pool or the pond. All bungalows have A/C, hot water, private terrace, and semi-open Balinese style bathroom. Some of the bungalows are deluxe with 42 inches led satellite TV. At our Deco Bar and Restaurant, we provide variety choice of breakfast & lunch and fresh juice with pool view from the wooden dining table area.
Meals are very small compared to surrounding restaurants. What the menu states comes with the meal apparently is an error. Vegetables are extra. No ice with drinks, shot of alcohol, coke extra and hot

I did PADI classes with my daughter at Noble Dive, and it was an awesome experience. She did OW and I got my DM. Online communication was super-responsive the entire time, and a breeze while setting up our training dates and arranging the hotel. Upon arrival and throughout my stay, the staff was awesome. Breakfast was included with the room and it was always tasty. Any special requests were no problem. Our instructor was Bagong and he is incredible, very skilled and a super patient instructor. He helped every time with gear setup, and his great attitude and caring manner made the whole experience just awesome. The owner is one of best guys you will meet, and his staff seem to really like working for him. Every dive we were driven to, which is the best because we rolled right up to the water and it makes the walking minimal. The Liberty wreck is like a 2 minute drive and ~10 muck and wall dives are within 10 minutes. It is the best dive shop in Tulamben, and I would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Noble Dive!
