Staff is unfriendly

The room was clean and sufficient for a nights stay- that is why I gave an extra star, because based off the service I would only give one. We planned on extending for another night but decided not to because of how unfriendly everyone was here. It’s rare to come across unfriendly people in Croatia so we were very taken aback. When we came down with our luggage- all the staff (maybe owners, not sure) were standing around looking at us. Not one person offered help, said good morning or even a simple hello. We were then told that breakfast was over and the kitchen was closed (when we never asked- it was also only 10:15 am) When we tried asking a couple questions about the ferries- instead of being helped at all, we were told they “don’t know” and we weren’t even pointed in the right direction. So, not only was it beyond awkward when none of the staff was speaking but then even more strange when we were basically told they wouldn’t be offering us anything as far as help/food/drink goes. It was a very strange experience to say the least. If you want to feel welcomed at all, or at the very least treated with respect- don’t stay here.

Good choice, bad communication
Reviewed By MajkenpetersenGreat location in the middle of old town. We stayed in a very spacious apartment, that seemed as if it was still work in progress. It is situated above the restaurant Lanii which makes it hard to find. We tried contacting the owners both on mail and telephone to confirm the stay and get information for check-in, but never heard back. We ended up just showing up and everything turned out fine. Downsides were the constant smell of food and buzzing from the streets. We would also have prefered a key card/key instead of pin for the door

Nice place in oldtown
Reviewed By JanegspPros: 1. Situated right in old town 2. Clean studio apartment 3. Very responsive owners 4. Brand new toilet 5. Aircond works well 6. Comes with washing machine, cooking utensils, plates cutleries etc, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and microwave oven Cons: 1. There’s a square glass ceiling so room can get quite bright as soon as the sun rises 2. Hot water runs out for the second person if the first person showers slightly longer (but it doesn’t take too long for the water to heat up again - just make sure the water heater is turned on!) 3. Room located on top floor (but not an issue for me)

Reviewed By peter16249Best Apartmant in Dubrovnik. If You Like to have modern apartmeant and again in Old Town or Dubrovnik this is the best option. You have plus 100 stairs to the apartmant but again thats Dubrovnik it is full of stairs. We Will come back

Awesome
Reviewed By Resort634911Our stay at this hotel was awesome. Arriving without our luggage, the owners came by to see if we needed anything and then went and got it. When I lost my phone, once again they came to see if we needed anything. Location is perfect. If we’re ever back in Dubrovnik, I would definitely stay there.

Spacious room and location great to get around area
Reviewed By Don HStayed in Spectrum rooms for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised at the space of the room. Large bed and seating area. In area close to bus stop and walking distance to restaurants and beach. Host was very friendly and helpful. No breakfast; however, did have coffee machine in common area. We were there to explore city and this place was perfect to have as home base each day

One of the best holidays ever
Reviewed By 12jessicabbExceptional host and excellent service. Apartment itself is wonderful, spacious and well decorated. There is a pool on site, and the breakfast for the guests, served in the hotel across the road, was more than good! Location is great and the host was there for us at all times to help us and answer our queries. I'm delighted I had a chance to stay here, one of the best holidays I ever had. We will recommend to friends and family and will surely be back.

Lovely views and fabulous hosts
Reviewed By Hemanth NWe booked the guest house and went with 3 families with young kids. Dado the host was excellent and gave us valuable ideas and tips. The views from the house are fabulous and most amenities are within a short walk away. The house has the equipment you need for a holiday and we simply had great fun. Special mention to Dado, the host-great tips and took us around the place. Would definitely be going back on my next visit
