The Cyclades is a group of Greek islands with beautiful, white sandy beaches, rugged mountains and lush valleys. Glamorous Santorini and Mykonos attract the jetset, while lesser-known isles, such as Milos and Naxos, are the perfect places for beach lovers. Ruins, including the 11th-century Dorian settlement and volcanic ash-preserved Ancient Akrotiri in Santorini, amaze those with a bent for ancient history. Sifnos' cuisine wins it admirers. Hydrofoils, ferries and catamarans connect the islands.

Charisma Suites Oia is a portrait of design perfection while each suite offers panoramic romantic views to the caldera and sunset. Nested into the cliff, where sun sets into the endless blue of Aegean Sea, in the heart of the serene village of Oia, Charisma is located about 20km away from the airport and port. Guests that visit the Charisma Suites, can enjoy spectacular caldera views while swimming in the hotel’s main infinity pool. In the evening, Santorini’s famous sunset can be enjoyed from the privacy of one’s veranda. Where style meets nature, these luxury suites symbolize the typical Cycladic allure. The Charisma Suites all offer a private balcony with panoramic views, while some of them feature private outdoor Jet Tub or private pools.
My wife and I began our honeymoon here at Charisma Suites and we could not have picked a better starting point for the trip. Everything was incredible and the entire staff made us feel at home the entire time. From the amazing breakfast every morning to the late night room service, all of the food was delicious. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Last but not least, the hotel was in a perfect location. Easily walkable to anything that you would want to do with a perfect view of the water and the sunset in the evening. We felt like we did not even have to leave our balcony to experience the views! We would highly recommend Charisma Suites to anyone traveling to Santorini.

A quite exceptional hotel right on the beach at the end of the beach strip. From the warm welcome to the back up help on departure should the flight be delayed or cancelled the staff at this hotel were exceptional. On reception, Stathis, Thavos, Euily & Georgia plus Agapi, Kostas and the rest of the Restaurant team always checking how things were with a smile. The food was top quality, the breakfast so fresh with constant replenishing and as others have said staff who remembered your drinks order. We had the evening buffet @ €25 pp such good value with different hot choices each night. Food is never piping hot that is the style everywhere but always hot enough with warm plates. The buffet came with free bottled water. The restaurant was staffed so well there was never a wait for a table or dirty plates and every effort was made to find a table that suited it was run with great organisation. Room keeping was top notch with towels changed daily and linen every two days couldn't ask for more. Reception made a point of saying if a problem occured to advise them straight away and they would sort it and they were true to their word with a minor issue we had plus followed it up throughout the week. The grounds were immaculate with none stop cleaning everywhere was so well kept. As mentioned by others the airport flight path crosses the front of the hotel so there is some plane noise and they appear low but the planes are infrequent and can be quite an interesting sight. Certainly no guests seemed bothered with it. Lots of freshwater pools around the complex with sunbeds to use plus plenty of beach sunbeds and umbrellas. Plus if you feel lazy a beach refreshment service from the restaurant with a linked button on each umbrella table. The adjacent strip has a multitude of bars and restaurants with some entertainment. Getting around the bus stop to Fira was a 10 minute walk, frequent services and only €1-60 so easy to visit the main places. All in all a very enjoyable stay at the Costa Grand and certainly one to consider for returning to in the future. Thank you all at the Costa Grand.

Loved having breakfast delivered Every morning to our balcony All the staff we came into contact with were really helpful and friendly Santorini is stunning and has to be seen to be believed It is expensive though so bring plenty of spending money There are some nice restaurants nearby and I also managed to walk into fira and back which at 7 months pregnant was no mean feat .

Me and my girlfriends enjoyed a few days in this hotel and we were really impressed! The check-in was smooth and very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, good size and tidy. We really enjoyed our balcony and terrace as well, where we had breakfast with a view. We also had a jacuzzi, ut never had the time to try it, so instead we used the hotel pool, which was perfect! Location is jsut a 10 minute walk from restaurants and bay area, and the reception could organize us transfers to mykonos town or quad rentals in minutes. I really hope to come back again one day, and I definitely recommend this place!

Great stay but needs some slight improvements: We stayed for 5 nights on our honeymoon, it was our first visit to Mykonos. The hotel arranged pickup for us at the airport free of charge which was brilliant. The hotel manager was lovely and we got welcome drinks on arrival at the outside bar which is right on the beach! Our hotel room was across the road (we didn’t pay for a sea view room but a pool room) but is still part of the main hotel and nice and private. The room was very clean when we arrived although the pool could of done with a bit more of a clean. There are lots of mosquitos so keep the door closed and the aircon on - there are trees right outside so lots of flying bugs at night. Lovely room in general although at certain times there was no hot water. We also had a problem with the LED lights in the room as they kept tripping and flashing on and off in the middle of the night. Fresh bedding and towels every day and kept nice and clean by housekeeping. The breakfast isn’t great at all! No toaster! And not a lot of choice. Only really bread and pastries or undercooked bacon and beans. Eggs didn’t look appealing either. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant because of this. The toilets in the main part of the hotel are really dirty. 2 don’t have seats on and they don’t smell very nice! Definitely need improving as these are the toilets for the bar area. They have great music on all day which you can hear from the beach front! It does get quiet loud at night though although we couldn’t hear it from our room. Quite expensive for drinks but overall great service from the bar staff. Staff also attend to you if you use the beach sun beds for the day (first 3 rows from the back are free but right on the sea it’s 2 for €15!). We enjoyed our stay but some overall improvements need to be made in our opinion for it to really be a 5*

Art Hotel in Pyrgos village in Santorini adopted Vincent Van Gong words in order to paint the dream hotel: "I dream my painting and then I paint my dream". For adults and gay oriented, Art hotel is design for those who love elegance, luxury, style and they are passionate for discovering the art.
4.5/5 Excellent hotel. Great service. The town pyrgos is a bit far from the center of the town but the town has restaurants and markets. It’s also quite close to the ferry port. Would stay again but there’s some issues which prevented it from getting a 5 star. The suite we stayed at, the bathroom is teeny tiny, and I mean tiny. The shower room (separate from the bathroom) is amazing though. The couch cushion was a beanbag chair which wasn’t super comfortable. The private pool has jacuzzi but is not heated.

San Antonio Summer House is in the picturesque settlement of Piso Livadi, on the eastern side of the island of Paros. The small fishing port of Piso Livadi is located a couple of km south of Marpissa and 19 km south-east of Parikia. Piso Livadi used to be a calm little village but it has been transformed and intensely developed to attract tourists. This important holiday resort has many fish restaurants and cafes located on the waterfront. From this little port, daily trips for Naxos, Ios, Santorini and Small Cyclades are organized regularly. South of Piso Livadi one can find many superb beaches as the Golden Beach, considered as one of the best spots in the Mediterranean for slalom windsurfing. The big religious festivity of this little resort is the celebration of the Ascension Day, during which many happenings are organized, sea food and wine are served to the participants.
We booked in feb 2021 having viewed the enticing pictures on Expedia. On arrival we found they were far removed from reality. On arrival we were sat down for 15 minutes whilst the manager explained the Covid rules. This included the fact that our breakfasts would be brought to our room because of Covid. We were then shown to our room. This was like going back 40 years to the 1st time we went to Greece. To say it was basic was an understatement. Curtains barely hanging on rails, broken wardrobe doors, a tiny bathroom with a huge hole in the ceiling revealing the sky outside. There was an overriding smell of damp, or dirty mop bucket water, it was that bad. We explained that this was not as it said on the website and the manager apologised and urged us to take the room anyway. We refused and asked for another only to be shown another room that had not been used for a week but also had not been cleaned in that time, with unmade beds from the previous occupants and a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, despite the fact that the windows were open wide , it was very off putting. We declined and asked for our money back. The manager then added that the cleaners had not been working and that most of the rooms are not ready, but if we waited for them to return at 10pm the room would be cleaned. We declined and we’re shown a 3rd room adjacent to the pool. Which is when we discovered that the sea ‘views’ pictures from the pool are obscured by 30ft buildings immediately adjacent to it. To get to the pool you have to walk out of the hotel and along the street. The sun beds are old and manky, and there was only 4 of them. The room we were then shown was equally as squalid and again we declined the offer and asked for a refund. The manager said he would ask his boss and rang him while we deliberated in what to do. On deciding to leave we where told we could not have a refund (£175) and we’re so disgusted with the whole experience that we decided to pick up our bags and leave. There was no offer of alternative accommodation so we used the hotel WiFi to book another hotel in nearby Naoussa, a much bigger, better resort. The next day the manager emailed us to say we could have had a stay at their sister hotel, Mr & Mrs White, near Naoussa, with the same deposit. But it was too late by then. All in all a sour experience and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel one bit, steer clear.

A hotel meant to rock your world through its unpretentious beauty and charms. Located in the picturesque settlement of Finikia, Edem is just a few steps from the world famous Oia village. Experience absolute luxury with the cherished island feel, staying at one of our Standard or Superior Suites.
Our stay was absolutely delightful, the team and Dimitris in particular is extremely kind, genuine and helpful. Within 30 minutes of arriving, we were in our jacuzzi with a delicious local sparkling wine and a very generous fruit platter. They helped us organise our time here and had great recommendations. Location-wise this is perfect, a few minutes away from the center of Oia. Thank you so much again for this wonderful stay!

Two neoclassic mansions built with flair adjoined into a romantic accommodation villa. The mansion was historically a summer home of Murat, the King of Sicily and General of Napoleon. Nested at the top of the Caldera cliff, in the heart of the island's capital, yet secluded from the visitor's crowds, offering panoramic view of the sea and the volcano as well as its famous sunset.
We had a very spacious room with a terrace and a astonishing view. The receptionist and waitress are very friendly and helpful. In my opinion there are missing a lot of details like a little bit of shade. Everything is done a bit loveless, which is a pity. My kids had another room, which didn't correspond with the images on the website. That was very unfortunate! Overall I'd rate this place only average.
