The Bevin House B&B, a Victorian mansion and boasts a huge wrap around porch, original leaded windows, unique architectural details inside and out, a grand central hallway and staircase, library, music room, formal parlor. Six rooms available to stay in. Lavish robes, in room fridges & refreshments for you to enjoy. Come stay with us!
The site makes it seem like it's in a picturesque country setting when in fact it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. I included one of the views below. I was traveling alone as a younger female and instead of trying to make me feel comfortable the owner was nasty and snarky to me. He was also very creepy and inappropriate and I kept myself locked in my room the entire time I was in the hotel because I did not feel safe with him around. The decor was country, and not in a good way, kind of like the owner. This has been the worst hotel stay I have had and I won't be back.

As previous reviews stated, the house is old and very lived in. It is just like a visit to your grandparents house. It needs a little attention. Nick is a very gracious host and made us feel at home. If you decide to stay here, please bring your own bottled water. There is a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker for convenience.

Navy Lodge New London offers Active Duty and Retired military members and their families 68 clean, comfortable and affordable family and business class accommodations. Each guest room comes equipped with a kitchenette, air conditioning, and private bath. We offer "Breakfast to Go" each morning in the lobby. We are Pet friendly. Navy Lodge New London is conveniently located near the Submarine Base New London for quick access to the Navy Exchange, Commissary, and MWR facilities and it is just a short drive to historic Mystic, CT and the beach.
First time. Spent 5 years on active duty and 4 in the reserves and never stayed at a Navy Lodge before. First time in CT visiting my son, who's finishing A School in Groton. Very welcoming structure (of that makes any sense). The front desk staff was very polite and professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and functional. The kitchen is small, but there's a functioning kitchen should you need one. The outside grounds are clean and pretty. Loving the view from my room, but mainly that's because I'm a geek who hadn't experienced real autumn in 20-something years (we live in the South). My only thing is that they didn't advise if there was free Wi-Fi and I don't see anything to indicate there is any Wi-Fi at all.

A family-friendly nudist resort that for 80 years has offered a safe, appropriate place where people of all ages can enjoy the freedom of recreation without clothing.
There is so much to recommend about Solair: the lovely grounds, the immaculate pool, the lake/pond with Viking ships and float devices. The utter RELAXATION of lounging about, clothing free, and feeling utterly safe. My spouse and I have spent several afternoons there, and we also rented a cabin for one night. Bliss!

We attended an intimate wedding and stayed at The Inn. We stayed in number 2, The Addison. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail was impeccable. Very luxurious and the bed was super comfortable. They give complimentary bar, snacks and breakfast, which was a nice treat. I loved the amenities in the bathroom. Pam welcomed us and was very helpful. I would highly recommend.

It's important to put The Suites at Yale-New Haven into context. The "suites" are attractive, the staff is helpful, and everything appears to be well maintained. BUT: The Suites are located in an area that everyone (and I mean everyone including hospital staff and security people) emphatically warned us NOT to walk in, even during the day. The upside of that is that security will shuttle you back and forth to the hospitals in a reasonably timely and pleasant fashion. There is plenty of parking in the secured lot. There is no place to eat in the immediate vicinity. There are two work-arounds, i.e., New Haven has lots of really good restaurants that can be reached via Lyft and Uber, and the suites have complete kitchens including pots, pans, a dishwasher, plates, and flatware. Rooms are cleaned only every fourth day—but clean sheets and towels are available upon request. There is no night staff: All staff leaves at 8 p.m. and reappears at 8 a.m. Check-in times are closely proscribed, i.e., M-F 2-7, Saturday 12-2, andSunday 2-7. Rooms that front on the street are fairly noisy with trucks and other loud vehicles pretty much 24/7. Coffee service is available all day. Snacks such as peanut butter crackers and granola bars are offered in the morning. The room we were in had a bathtub and no walk-in shower. (Someone didn't think this one through too well.) Because the Suites specifically service the hospitals, they are very flexible if you end up getting to leave earlier than expected or need to extend your stay. Hopefully I won't have to use The Suites again, but if I must go back to New Haven for medical purposes, I would most definitely stay there!

Three new private rooms with ensuite baths in a country setting with local product breakfast and artisanal chocolates in each room
Eureeka....after several years at staying in various motels, inns and B&Bs, Sassafras provided all the amenities that my wife and I have been hoping for. The facility is a beautifully remodeled home with 3 bedrooms available for guests. We had a ground floor king bed (a tempurpedic mattress, no less) in a large airy room with plenty of light, air conditioning, ceiling fan, sort of a full length mirror, iPhone charges by the bed, wifi, and an extra large bathroom with a double sink vanity and a large walk in shower...All of this under the expert care of Sandra Oliver, as gracious a host as you can hope for. Her breakfasts were to order from the menu provided the night before and were prepared to perfection, The grounds are beautifully manicured gardens arranged and tended by Sandra herself. We were there for two concerts at Music Mountain on the weekend, about 20 minutes away but the town is central to several others that offer many attractions in the area.

Property was clean, including our room. Pandemic health protocols were followed by all personal. Pros: Wonderful restaurant and pleasant accommodating staff that we've encountered during both, breakfast and dinner. Very nice winery. Good selection, personable service. Cons: Really outdated room decor with minimal functionality. Some outlets were not in working order, no night tables, only one chair in the room for two...bathroom was as clean as an old vanity, etc could be. Overall - For the price, disappointed with the room (pictures on-line were deceiving) but pleasantly surprised with the restaurant and surroundings. Will not come back for overnight stay unless rooms are completely remodeled.

Hand and Heart B&B is a casual, comfortable and informal getaway B&B in the 1834 Apollos Moore House in the historic Village of Riverton, CT. Relax and unwind in one of our three guestrooms, each with private bath, wood floors, central air and Wi-Fi. Indulge yourself in a hearty full home cooked breakfast next to the fireplace in our unique stenciled floor Dining Room.
My husband and I, and my sister and her husband had the pleasure of staying at Hand & Heart B&B in July 2018 while visiting family in nearby Winstead. This is a beautifully restored home in the center of the tiny historic village, Riverton. The rooms were very spacious, simply but beautifully decorated and immaculate. John & Gerry were perfect hosts - so interesting and gracious. The breakfasts were excellent and the dining room bright and warm. We visit this area frequently, and will definitely stay again when my Winstead sister has a full house. We couldn't recommend Hand & Heart enough! It was a joy to stay here!

We are centrally located to everything that southeastern Connecticut and southern Rhode Island have to offer. Minutes from downtown Mystic, Mystic Seaport, Olde Mistick Village, Stonington Borough, Rhode Island Beaches, Groton, Long Point, charter fishing, Foxwoods Casino, MGM Grand Casino, Mohegan Sun Casino, Wineries, New London, antiques, world class shopping in Mystic and Watch Hill and world class dining. We are a short ride from Newport, Narragansett, Block Island, Point Judith, Jamestown and Providence Rhode Island. We are also in the heart of Connecticut's historic farm district.
I would not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate and do not want to spend much for a room. The room was dirty, had not been vacuumed in some time. Their were webs and bugs in the corners of the room. The bathroom was separated into two closets. No room in the shower and very hard to regulate the water temperature. There was no refridgerator. The "TV" was a 12 " . The air conditioner was old and noisy. There was only one very tiny bar of soap for the two bathrooms. Had locked our key in room and when the owner finally came to open the Dorr was told not to loose it at night or we would be out of luck to get in. The owner seemed like we bother him to get any service. The young gentlemen who cleaned the rooms seemed very pleasant and helpful.
