Remote Bhutan first allowed the world a peek inside in 1974. With four millennia of habitation, the Himalayan kingdom offers a trove of archaeological treasures, including many ornate temples and dzong fortresses. Isolation has preserved the heavily Buddhist-influenced culture of the last Shangri-La.

Six Senses Bhutan is located within the amazing Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan known for its rich diversity of flora and fauna along with omnipresent spirituality and colorful culture. The western and central valleys of Bhutan are the sites for our homes, the Six Senses lodges. Scattered throughout these valleys, collectively referred to as Six Senses Bhutan.
After coming down to earth - from the truly magical experience of having stayed at the exquisite, beyond amazing, breathtakingly beautiful Six Senses Lodge in Bhutan, I had to share the experience. Bhutan is a stunningly beautiful country, and the Six Senses Lodges perfectly reflect the beauty of the country and landscape, while at the same time reflecting the lovely nature of the people - in their wonderful staff. If you can stay at these lodges, you will never forget them. The architecture is gorgeous, each lodge is different, and the staff so welcoming and kind - you feel as if you are home - a very fantastic home! The physical location of each lodge enables you to have incredible views and really feel at one with the spectacular scenery. The suites are all thoughtfully designed and beautiful, but above all else is the staff - ensuring each stay will be warm, inviting and personal. They are the most thoughtful hosts. The experience of staying here is totally immersive. The food is excellent - great chefs, great menus, everything delicious. Chef John at Thimphu is masterful in his culinary creations. I've stayed at fabulous places all over the globe - but the Six Senses Bhutan is at the top - unforgettable. Many thanks to Sally, Marisa, all the gems and especially my guide Sonam and driver Topgay, who I loved seeing every day and who helped make my trip so memorable. Susan K.

We where staying two nights at Alem hotel for celebrating a wedding. Everything was very well organized, plenty of food and lots of fun. The staff was welcoming, nice and service minded. The rooms are large, warm and well furnished with a nice bathroom. I will gladly come back to this little hotel in the beautiful country of Bhutan.

S..O.T.C made us stay here.view from the room is stupendous, the famous Tigers nest is visible from balcony of room.property is situated far from the hustle bustle of city at a quaint place.room decor is fine, linen crispy, neat and clean. Everything is fine excepting the untrained staff, who, obviously, are docile but lacking professionalism. Needs improvement in the matter catering. But for good views and tidy room, the mentioned professionalism can be overlooked. Nice stay !!

Silver Pine Hotel Paro is located 10 min drive from airport and about 5 minutes from Paro town. It is well located within easy reach of the main tourist attractions and also within walking distance of Paro town. Hotel is conceived with the blend of traditional architecture or designs combined with modern comfort. You will find tranquil surroundings and explore ones inner peace. The hotel takes pride in serving some of the best food in Bhutan.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 Nights and it is not at all recommanded. Very poor services from the staffs (minimum staffs). Room are specious but not at maintened , electrical fitting and plumbing fitting are not working. No intercom facility and no room service. Room heaters are not working properly. Food taken in breakfast, lunch and dinner are not at all upto the mark and even not sufficient. Only the lady sits in the receiption are very polite and cooperative, rests are not bothered any thing.

I am writing a review for a hotel in which I have not stayed for the first time . We were supposed to visit Bhutan and stay at Kichu resort in March . Unfortunately a week before our travel Bhutan restricted entry of all foreigners into the country due to COVID 19 and we were forced to cancel our trip. The story of my woes starts from here. I contacted Expedia as soon as the trip got cancelled for a refund since had booked via them. Had to chase expedia for months and their multiple agents were unable to get through to the hotel to get a refund. One agent managed to speak to the manger who even promised to refund the money but refused to answer mails and pick calls after that. As a last desperate attempt I contacted the Bhutan tourism to see if they could help me out . They also seemed to have failed to get the refund . The hotel never intended returning the money though the trip was cancelled for no fault of ours. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone as they just cheated me out of my money and showed absolutely no customer service and professionalism.

The room is clean, spacious equipped with a room heater. The bathroom had a decent sized geyser. The staff was very helpful, we checked in quite late at night and someone was there to recieve us. Restaurant is just average. Dishwise review Stir-fry vegetable was horrible The main negative of this place is, it's quite far from the main town. So you having a personal car is advised.

The hotel is a resort in small town of Punakha in Bhutan - the rooms are cosy with a balcony view of the stunning landscape. If you are an Indian, the food is very good and will taste as good as an Indian meal. The resort has a gift shop in its premises and the lady who runs it makes the silver jewellery herself so you get some very good stone silver jewellery at a reasonable price. The downside of hotel is its off location - if you dont have a car & driver at disposal, it’s inconvenient to come & go to this hotel. There are mosquitoes so better to carry mosquito repellents. Otherwise a very pleasant hotel with a pleasant staff.

Himalayan Keys Forest resort is beautifully set in the middle of pine forest with 11 private cottages.
Upon arrival, we are greeted by a team of reception staff and I am impressed with the hospitality and the sincerity that they have shown us. Nindup, and her team of strong gentleman assisted us quickly carrying our luggage and settling in. The resort has 12 cottages and each has a special name assigned to it. I will not reveal more as I hope that you can come here and explore it for yourself. The entire resort is built on a rather undisturbed forest and you can really feel coolness of the surrounding, the chirping of birds and orchestral harmony of the native insects. I cannot help but feel that I have been transported to safe haven of Mother Nature. When we enter the room, facilities were well arranged and all essential were prepared. The cottage were built with wooden materials. Hot showers, heaters TV and all essential are available. When it comes to meal time, we are delighted as the staff in the dinning area was very helpful. Food is fabulous. In particular, I must mention Buddy, the wonderful kind staff who always serves us during mealtimes. He have assisted in attending to my needs when I have unfortunately taken ill. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks all staff in the resort who have really put in their heart and soul in making our stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
