I made a lifelong connection with Santiago, who is a beautiful little man with strong hands. He gave me a royal treat with the wind treatment, but he explained the whole concept behind the spa. The hotel, restaurant and spa is on the edge of a crater, where many mountains meet and you are in the clouds with rolling mist. It's a magical and spiritual place, where u can takes blind steps to the centre of your heart along with some lamas. Breathe in and meditate. Santiago's hands touched me almost everywhere and it's the best massage of my life. I had a breakfast earlier at 8am upon arrival, but the treatment came with fruit, yogurt, granola, tea and chocolate with ginger. I highly recommend this place as soon as you arrive in Ecuador, beside the middle of the world.

I had an amazing experience at this spa! Not only did they squeeze me in last minute, my Mediterranean massage was wonderful, and very affordable. The essential oils they used were amazing and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff was so kind and really took the effort to talk to me (and let me practice my Spanish!!). They also kindly let me wait there for my Uber. I recommend this place to everyone and I am definitely coming back.
