My friend and I made an appointment for a haircut on 6/1/20. I was met with a choice of complimentary cocktails since it was my first time. I decided on the Man-mosa and it was very good. I was shown to the man cave while I waited for my stylist to finish her last customer. The man cave was a fun touch complete with comfortable leather couches and chairs and a large screen TV. My turn came for my haircut and it was just a very relaxing experience complete with a great cut. A big shout out to Emily Gibson and Ashley Strickland for making it a worthwhile and memorable experience.

Upstate Structural Bodywork

I go to Audrey Zongrone Waldrop as part of an aging strategy. As we age i feel it's important to 1: Stay active. Injuries and joint pain can inhibit this. Audrey is the c absolute best therapist at helping her clients stay active. 2. Know your body. This sounds simple, but it is difficult without an objective observer. Audrey is that for me. She is able to see weaknesses before I can and work on them and give me stretches and exercises to complement her work. 3. Be accountable regularly for the first two suggestions. I find that being accountable to another person is much more effective than just to myself. Audrey very professionally fills that role. Those are my primary reasons for going to Upstate Structural Bodywork. But if what you need is shorter term, like relaxation, Audrey can do that better than any other therapist I've known. In fact, you might not want to get off the table.

Urban Nirvana Downtown

Located by the shops at Mcbee, just around the corner from a large Publix, with lots of easy parking everywhere. Two entrances, one does to hairdressing area, the other to the spa reception area - both interconnect so doesn’t matter which one you use. Staff are gracious and welcoming. Lots to buy in here too if you’re looking for that. I had a great massage with Kelly, it’s a nice setting and you don’t hear the traffic noise outside. At around $90 plus tip for an hour the price is very reasonable too so I’ll be back.
