In various sources it is stated that Cukurcuma Hamam was built in the 1830's. The Kubbe(the wide dome) covering the warmness area, Gobektasi (the squared heated marble) and Halvet (sweating cabin area)are very bright and spacious and still reflect the magnificence of their era. Cukurcuma Hamam has begun to accept its guests as a boutique Turkish Hammam in September 2018 after a long renovation period.
If you would like to treat yourself to an amazing Turkish Bath while having the best amenities possible in a spotless, newly renovated historical place, you should go to the Cukurcuma Hamami. The building itself was meticulously renovated while staying true to its origins and turned into this almost like a modern day spa in a very historical and happening neighborhood in Istanbul. I went with my mom who has never been to a Turkish Bath since her childhood years. We both got the Freya package which includes both the Deep Scrubbing/Washing in the Turkish Bath and the Oil Massage, the whole experience was around two hours and we both LOVED it and highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back there! We were greeted by an amazing team of therapists, who provided us with a private room to change with a bracelet key to put our belongings. Immediately after, we were offered detox water while relaxing in the comfortable divans. Then they took us to the main area for the real Turkish Bath experience. Oh my goodness, what a treat! One of the therapists started singing for us which made the experience extra authentic and special. The oil massage was first class. They were able to accommodate special requests like my mom not wanting to stay on the hot stone for too long. They also provide disposable bikinis.

Scorpios Traditional Reflexology House is there for you to get away from the stress of daily and busy business life, relaxing you to spend your time. It offers you both classic and modern massage services with certified therapists in the center of the city in Taksim.
What a gem. Hidden away off of Teksim Square, this place is an absolute must for anyone looking to relax and be pampered. The place is spotless, the staff are so polite, friendly and welcoming and the massages themselves were absolutely brilliant. The service is thoroughly professional and care is taken to offer seperate rooms when required. The host Mr Birkan was an absolute gentleman, offering tea and coffee during our time there. My wife and I first tried the foot reflexology and coupled it with the head neck and shoulder massage. Our masseuses (Mr Burak for myself and Miss Figen for my wife) were both excellent. Great technique, very satisfying format in terms of how the massages are done, both me and my wife left feeling great! We were so impressed that we went back a few days later and opted for the anti-stress massage and seaweed face masks. An hour of pure bliss and relaxation! If we ever visit Istanbul again, we will certainly be coming back. Cannot reccomend enough. Point to note, it can be tricky to find the place as the main gate has a very small sign. Also, call ahead to Mr Birkan to ensure availability. You will not be dissapointed.

Would you like to experience traditional Turkish bath in historical hammam with luxurious service? The architect Sinan has built the hammam in 16th century, we constructed a 5-star-hotel very next to it and started to serve our dear customers with Sanitas group (number one in spa and massage). You can choose the best for you among plenty packages including hammam, massages, masks.
Catma Mescit Hammam is a masterpiece of the great Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan dating back to the 6th century, which has been recently renovated and takes place in the Hotel Nova Plaza Pera, which by luck, I happened to be staying during my visit in Istanbul:) The staff is professional, friendly, responsive and very attending. If you’re visiting Istanbul I recommend you to take a break to experience such a wonderful treat that you gift for yourself! You won’t regret it, trust me;)
