We did several massages and spa treatments in la fortuna. These ladies were our favorite for the pressure and length of the massage as well as the value provided. Very good technique! Lovely ladies. Carry cash the machine doesn’t work (which is fine would just like to know in advance). Definitely a must visit.

We are the first official Yoga Studio in la Fortuna de San Carlos, we offer a variety of daily yoga classes, Hatha Yoga Vinyasa & Yin, Meditation and other holistic therapies as well. We teach with background on the 26+2 asanas from the B.S.K Iyengar lineage and other branches of yoga as well, adding modifications to specific needs to each student and the audience of the class. Our instructors is certified in a variety of yoga disciplines. Amanda, our Hatha yoga teacher is Yoga Alliance Certified and has a great experience teaching yoga around the world in different disciplines.

Participated in an incredible 5 day retreat. Both ladies who organized and ran the retreat were highly qualified. Reya, owner of La Fortuna Wellness gave us a beautiful aerial yoga session as well as leading evening wellness sessions to guide us in self reflection and growth. Andrea from Riding into Life (Canada) led our biking trips and was so supportive in helping us build our biking skills and pushing past fears to see what we could do. So safe and supportive! If you are looking to put together a group retreat or plan to visit La Fortuna and would like try aerial yoga, I highly recommend Reya and La Fortuna Wellness.

We purchased an hour massage for our mother who joined us on our Costa Rica trip. She has given messages for over 20 years in Vallarta and went to school for it. She said it was the best massage she ever had in her life!
