After admiring the Christ, the visit continues in the nearby Basilica of San Biagio, patron saint of the town. Firstly it’s nice to see that this type of place provides modern SAFE vehicles for use. Having had bad quad bike experiences in the past was nice to see that these bikes are well maintained and that everything works as it should.... including the brakes! They even take you on a ‘mini’ road test to see if you can actually ride a machine and not just take your word for it. Safety helmets provided. We had a great tour with Ricardo. You get to see parts of the area you would never experience if you weren’t on a quad bike. Ricardo was a great guide and took photos for us to remember our experience. We had a fairly ‘brisk’ ride as I have ridden a lot of off-road so the standard 1.5hr route only took us 1 hour. Was still worth the money. Rider & passenger €70.

It is located inside the Park of Gallipoli Cognato and the Little Lucanian Dolomites and is surrounded by fantastically shaped sandstones.
