This safari is private and safer than sharing, a day safari to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, from Cape Town. There are no real safari venues near Cape Town as it is climatically unsuitable for supporting a free-roaming wildlife area with large predators such as lions. The Pilanesberg is a National Reserve with thousands of animals. This is a private safari with our very experienced wildlife guide and driver. We use a large high seated SUV with an opening sunroof and large windows which is perfect for animal viewing and photography but still very comfortable for getting you from and back to the airport. If you want to go with other guests in an open safari vehicle (OSV) then we can arrange this too. Spend at least 5 hours on a safari, reaching distant parts of the reserve there are literally thousands in the reserve. You will see many wild animals, perhaps the Big 5, and eat lunch at a Bakubung safari lodge, with wild animals close by in view. It will complete your African experience!
Inclusions: Driver/guide, National Park fees, Return flights from Cape Town to Lanseria or Johannesburg., Bottled water, Lunch
Exclusions: Drinks, Gratuities
Amazing experience from beginning to end, Patrick's attention to detail was impecable, we will book with them all our future trips. Now is the best time to visit South Africa, no crowds, best weather, and everyone so ready to welcome tourists back with arms wide open, all covid protocols followed perfectly. We felt safe at all times.

I have to first admit my ignorance to the majesty of South Africa and all it has to offer. The Real South Africa....made sure I left educated, from everything from the countries history to their modern day marvels. Spending the day on safari seeing animals large and small, shopping at Sandton Mall, eating Dinner in the Sky to just relaxing poolside after a massage! Something as simple as the sunrise will take your breath away! Kudos to SA and all it’s people for for uniting as one and turning their country around after the apartheid. Not only did the Real South Africa make my trip spectacular beyond what I could have imagined they made it so carefree and easy for me, literally taking care of all the details, coordination....all I had to do was be ready! I look forward to my next visit! Until then....

Dear Chris, What an amazing experience! I could not have asked for a better guide/companion for my visit to Pilanesberg. I am so grateful to have had 3 relaxing days to enjoy everything that the Park has to offer. Some might consider you saved "the best" for last (the roaring lioness and the elusive leopard) but I loved every moment on days one and two that led up to those exciting sightings on our final day. You showed me that there is so much more to a safari than "The Big Five." I made a tally as best I could of all that you shared with me: at least 24 different birds (probably many more!!) 20+ animal species; vegetation that feeds the animals, grooms the animals, protects and cures ills. What I didn't expect was the peacefulness of this experience. You shared a very special place with me that felt all the more meaningful knowing how much it means to you and how connected you are to the place. Thank you for being so generous, taking on a solo traveler and sharing your excitement, expertise, amazing knowledge and all your wonderful stories of Pilanesberg. I hope I will be back again soon! Thanks again! Beth C from Maine, USA

We took out mountain bikes and had fun taking advantage of the ride up on the cable way and riding down. We were super impressed with the covid protocol - in fact the best we've seen from large operators during Covid. Made us feel very safe and relaxed. Social distancing in queues, you don't share your cable car with strangers and cars are fogged each time passengers exit. HUGE effort, expense and discipline employed by the operators to maintain this standard - it is greatly appreciated. Keep up the great work guys in providing fun, safe, outdoor activities during these strange times.

I highly recommend this tour. Norman, my guide for the day, came to the hotel to pick me up. We drove to the Apartheid museum where he left me inside to explore. 2.5 hours later we met outside and were on our way to Soweto. Touring the various neighborhoods in Soweto gave me a great overall view of the area. We stopped at the Hector Peterson memorial and then at the Mandela house. At the end, Norman drove me back to the hotel. Norman was a very charming guide and very knowledgeable of the history of the area.
The Anne Van Dyk Cheetah Centre is a magical educational oasis in the heart of Hartebeespoort area. You can examine Cheetahs up close and study some of the more endangered species like the African Painted Wolf or Wild Dog. An uplifting experience.

They can work on their staffs attitudes...they are so unfriendly and it's like asking for them to perform miracles for directions from the start. Also signage is a bit confusing. The pools flooring is done very poorly....going in without shoes is very painful.
