My partner gifted me the PADI Open Water Diver course for our anniversary as he already had his junior level. I had previously had quite a traumatic experience on holiday and was adamant that this was not an activity for me. However, our instructor Baher was amazing. His ability to keep me completely calm and gain his trust easily meant that I actually managed overcome my fear and begin to enjoy scuba diving. We passed yesterday and now are looking forward to our upcoming holiday which is including a diving trip. Thank you Baher and the team at ScubaLife for giving me a new and exciting adventure and skill that myself and my partner can enjoy together ????!

One of the best tours to hit all the top spots in one day. The guide and driver was excellent although the bus had a sound problem where everything the guide said sounded like a Charlie Brown episode. Enthusiastic guide and willingly shared trivia and information. Bus was comfortable and onboard wifi worked even in the desert. They provided plentiful beverages and honestly could not have asked for a better way to spend an off-day as I would have been exhausted trying to get to each place on my own. I had the entire day tour and we stopped halfday to pick up the afternoon tour pax. The added pax for the afternoon suddenly made the tour feel rushed to get all the activities in for the day. There was also just a very short break for lunch at the Souk meeting spot, so a sit down meal was rushed and you basically either had time to shop or to eat. not both. The tour itself was a wonderful tour. There are SO many "best" places to see. I enjoyed the Fort and the history and the free time to casually explore for a few minutes on my own. The perspective of BC history overlooking AD modern cities is fascinating. The views are spectacular. My favorite place was the National Museum. Enough time to see a few exhibits on the tour, but I would personally return for a more indepth look at all the exhibits and rooms. There wasnt time on the tour to really read or explore, but definitely worth a visit on its own. Con: I had a ticket pricing issue as mid tour after beginning to get to know the other pax discovered that we were the only two single travelers but we were charged different rates for the same full day tour. After I contacted the booking agent and presented the ticket with different rate, and several back and forth emails with zero resolution or explanation why two single travelers would be charged differently, I gave up the conversation. So LOVE the tour and seeing everything Dislike the ticket pricing which charged me $129 USD for a single person but way less to another single traveler. Complaining didnt help. I visit Manama several times per year and while I would recommend the tour, caution to check the pricing before purchase.
