The Suwaidi Pearls pearl farm is located in the small fishing village of Al Rams, which nestles at the bottom of the majestic Al Hajar mountain range in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Established in 2005 by Mr. Abdulla Al Suwaidi, the world’s first Arabian pearl farmer. For the first time in history, the region is now farming Arabian Pearls in the surrounding seas. Burj Khalifa utilised a record-breaking 330,000 cubic metres of concrete; 39,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement; 103,000 square metres of glass; and 15,500 square metres of embossed stainless steel. The tower took 22 million man hours to build.
