I was on my way back to Tokyo from Matsumoto and decided to stop in Suwa just to take a look. I was not so impressed with Suwa, but I came across Katakura Hall and that made it all worthwhile. For only ¥650, you can enjoy the bath for as long as you want. After that, go upstairs to the rest floor and enjoy a light meal or some drinks from the vending machines. A very relaxing afternoon for such a small price!
