Very nice view of the ocean and the surrounding cliffs without the rush and hassle of the nearby temple. Good spot for taking up your drone or spending romantic sunset evening with your partner.

Malini Agro Park

Reviewed By marmankites - Porthcawl, United Kingdom

We visited Malini Agro Park just after lunch and stayed until after sunset. The park is very beautiful and full of great design, fruit and vegetables growing everywhere. The staff were all very friendly and one even took time to walk us around the farm and tell us about everything they are growing. The food and drinks prices are higher than the rest of the area, but with the location and views it is worth it. We used the pool and for some time were the only people present. Would recommend 100% if in the area. The driveway is a bit bumpy but fine on a scooter if you take it slow.

Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple (Pura Luhur Uluwatu) is one of six key temples believed to be Bali's spiritual pillars, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level. This temple also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple located in the island's western shores.

After visiting Benova Beach, Nusa Dua Beach and Water Blow we went to Uluwatu Cliff Temple. I think it is about 50 meters higher than the beach. You have to park the vehicles and walk and climb the steps to reach the temple. Very beautiful surrounding and very crowded too. However, there are monkeys, so you must be careful since they might drag your camera, sunglasses etc,, A must visit place if you are in Bali.

Water Blow

Reviewed By PrestonGuild

At the time of visit, entrance was free but they had constructed an admission office so I presume they were going to introduce a charge in the future. I used to go in the morning after breakfast, walk off the buffet breakfast. We also went later in the afternoon and at both times the tide was high. This is a rocky cliff where the ocean waves hit and blows over to the crowd. Some patience is required as the waves build up as a crescendo. You also need patience to get a good spot to take pictures and we did move around a bit to see the waves from different viewpoints.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park

Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue stands watch over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu, atop his mount, the mythical eagle, Garuda. Soaring to a height of over 120 meters, this is one of the tallest monumental statues in the world, higher than both the Statue of Liberty and Christ the Redeemer. The statue makes a stunning central feature of GWK Cultural Park, a fascinating 60 hectare cultural park that draws visitors from around the globe and provides a tantalizing glimpse into Bali’s fascinating heritage through intriguing cultural performances, legendary folklore tales, immense sculptures and dramatic cinematic presentation. Enjoy panoramic island views as you explore the park on foot or by Segway. Indulge in Indonesian heritage cuisine, immerse yourself in a land steeped in mythology, or plan your next big event in one of GWK’s epic venues.

In that area there is also the Garuda Statue which is right behind Plaza Vishnu is the Garuda Plaza where the statue as high as 18 meters Garuda is placed temporarily. At this time, Garuda Plaza is the focal point of a large corridor carved with limestone that covers more than 4000 square meters of open space namely Lotus Pond. Colossal limestone pillars and monumental Lotus Pond Garuda sculptures make for a very exotic space. With a room capacity that can accommodate up to 7000 people, Lotus Pond has earned a good reputation as the perfect place to hold large and international events. There is also a statue of Vishnu's hand which is part of the statue of Lord Vishnu. This is one step closer to completing the complete Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. This work was placed temporarily in the Tirta Agung area. On September 22, 2018 President Joko Widodo along with First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo attended the inauguration of the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) statue.

This Harbor is busy for water sports include The Iron Man attraction. So fun! Clean beach, many operators here but be careful with personal operator. Good also for photography. I come here just for photography and interaction with the locals.
