Very lovely peaceful setting. The mass was just as we were leaving but all the areas around were also very pretty. People from all faiths were there to offer prayers. Must go.

Saptshringi nivasini mata is represented by a huge idol with 16 hands. Her Aura instantly attracts. We went there from Nasik on the way to Saputara. Road.is good. Ride to hill top is very smooth and approach road is excellent. There was huge rush and took us 2 hours even with the funicular. No social distancing in the Corona times, even though they insist on mask. Funicular is really a well maintained a well operated boon for the devotees. Its not a Rodeway but railway i think. I was carrying my mother who is 72 year old and physically frail. There is an arrangement for wheel chair along with escort for senior citizen with extra cost of INR100, which makes Darshan quite easy for them. Funicular rate is now INR 100 PP.

For real benefits, one needs to do an extended course of 10 days. That being said, you can even do a quick one day visit. You are welcomed by a huge gateway which is majestically constructed. Once you enter the Vipassana hall, beautiful paintings depicting the life of the Buddha adorn all the walls. I really admired the skills of the artist/artists who have lovingly sketched and painted the masterpieces. There is a video show of 20 minutes which introduced us to the Vipassana centre and its founders followed by a quick 10 minute meditation session. If you are anywhere near nashik or Igatpuri, it should not be missed.

Had darshan on 26/12/19 - Evening Had darshan on 27/12/19 - Early Morning Travelled from Nashik old CBS stand and it is 2 hrs drive. Ticket price INR 40/- and bus leaves every 30 minutes. Stayed at Shri Gajanan Ashram and the bus drops you right at the gate. Ashram is at a distance of about 1 km away from temple gate and one can easily walk else there are share auto at INR 10/- per person which drop you till the temple. Had evening darshan after a 4 1/2 hour wait in the queue. Next day morning 5.30am had darshan in 1 hour wait. Early morning darshan is desirable as rush is less. Additionally during evening there is a donation queue where one can pay INR 200/- and have darshan in 2 to 2 1/2 hrs. Hope this helps for those who are going to the temple for the 1st time. Jai Trimbakeshwar Shiv Ji

This is one of a kind the murti of lord Rama which I have seen which is black in colour. The temple is beautiful and made in black sand stone.. There are some renovations going on in the temple but it does not effect the travellers. A must visit place when you are in Nashik.. Regards Tarun Anil Samvedi Virar, Mumbai

This temple is located on the way to Godavari opposite to the Goreram Mandir. The main temple ‘s parikira has got many idols including that of Lord Ganesh. The temple is located at a slight height. Nice Lingam. Here the Nandi is considered Guru of Shiv.
