VIP SERVICES AT PUNTA CANA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PUJ) Welcome to Punta Cana International Airport’s VIP Services, a true experience of luxury and comfort until the very last minute; we seek to ensure all travelers’ experiences are seamless from the moment they arrive to the moment they depart from our airport facilities.
This was our first airline trip and international vacation since the start of the pandemic so we wanted to minimize time in the airport. VIP Services in Punta Cana was truly the gold standard. We were met on the tarmac by a uniformed rep with a sign and a private golf cart with a driver, who assisted with our carry-on bags. In just a few minutes, we entered a private VIP lounge with refreshments. An immigration officer processed our arrival in the lounge before we were escorted again to baggage claim. Our checked bags were taken to an expedited customs line, where our electronic QR arrival code was scanned. VIP services quickly located our private van from Best Day Travel (which they had recommended before our trip) and we were on our way to the resort. Our airport greeting upon departure was equally impressive, with the VIP Services rep collecting our documents (passports, proof of negative Covid tests, etc.) in a private office and we were escorted to the head of the airline check-in area for boarding passes. Cleared security on an expedited line and bypassed all waiting areas at immigration to the required electronic screening area. A VIP lounge had a variety of refreshments and beverages. The gate agent recognized us from VIP Services and quickly completed our gate check-in. Everyone connected with VIP Services Punta Cana Airport was professional, courteous, attentive, and fluent in English. VIP Services provides great value and peace of mind. Muchas Gracias!

This gothic-style chapel stands in Santo Domingo's Colonial District.
This is a beautiful church designed in the modern style, reminiscent of Le Corbusier. The church was designed by French architects, André Dunoyer de Segonzac and Pierre Dupré. It’s about two hours from Santo Domingo on a slow Saturday. Many pilgrims come to celebrate. There is a plaque commemorating Pope John Paul II’s visit in 1992.

Our friend JC helped us to donate clothing and blankets for the poor. Our donation was given to a nearby community of Friusa. One does not see the poverty when on a resort, or living on the economy in Punta Cana. The Catholic Church will provide donated goods, medication at no cost to the poor unlike government agencies or entrepreneurs. Please donate! I put up a Facebook post asking for luggage and goods, friends responded and we took them. The Church volunteers are trained to help. Use whatsapp to phone the church, drop by durning the day, or go to Sunday Mass at 10 am, or call JC, Church Usher, at 18293148328. Gospel is read in English. Download the readings before you go if you don’t understand Spanish.

My family Loved Loved Loved this excursion. It was approx 5hrs so it doesn't take all your day. We were picked up around 7:30 from our hotel. The buggies very extremely fun and then the Dominican Experience was super informative.. you learn how they make Mama Juana, coffee, chocolate from cacao beans, coconut oil and cigars....And you get to sample all! Never tried a cacao pulp straight from the fruit. Waking through the caves and to the Cenote was A+++. Big shout out to the best tour guy Jose, Chi Chi and my photographer Wilkins. I would definitely do it again next time. Things to bring: Bug repellent, water & a towel and snacks. They also sell snacks and beer after the cenote experience. Don't worry if you leave your $ in your locker- you can pay when you return to the main lobby. Don't forget to get your mama Juana bottle from their gift shop. Keep up the great work guys!!!

This place is absolutely amazing. The views from the restaurant are spectacular. The fresh catch is awesome. You can literally see the fisherman fishing while sitting at the restaurant. The service definetly deserves five starts. I highly recommend Boca de Yuma..
