Concord's historic Main Street area is home to various sites of cultural significance, including Railroad Square, the Eagle hotel, which hosted such notable guests as Eleanor Roosevelt and Richard Nixon, The Pierce Manse, former home of President Franklin Pierce, and the State House, the oldest state capitol in which the legislature meets in its original chambers. Far more than the sum of its history, Concord boasts a popular planetarium, plentiful performing arts and an international speedway.

NH's State House - with the oldest continuously used legislative chambers! Opened in June 1819! Home of the General Court of NH!
Full of nooks and crannies, this very old building exudes Yankee thrift and durability. Set amid the town, and not walled off from the flow of life, the capitol building screams New Hampshire. Live free or die!

I took my wife and my step duaghter here to pick apples for their first time. The ride to the orchard was amazing cause you keep going farther in the woods then you go up a hill. As soon as you come out of the woods, it is a beautiful view. You have a great variety of apples to pick.I would highly recommend bringing a camera. This is definitley a family adventure.

You can Pick Your Own through the summer here! Great berries and peaches. Corn is the best as well as all the veggies you'll need. They bake their own bread/pastires and make their own jams. Always smells delicious. They also carry local cheeses and dairy and eggs.

Statue honoring the historic statesman is located outside the State Capitol.
Daniel Webster is often forgotten, but really has some great quotes, a very wise man. While some of tried to make him for slavery, nothing could be further from the truth. He supported John Quincy Adams who did more for the abolitionists than any man up to Lincoln. The state house is also the oldest state house in US a beautiful sit.
