Marvo Mysteries Escape Room Bournemouth

Teams of 3-8 players must search for clues, solve the mystery, recover the Artifact and try to Escape all before their time runs out. We will take you on an adventure to remember, or one you will never forget.

From the entry instructions, your adventure starts... Entering the loading bay and into the reception you are blown away with the attention to detail. Artifacts, maps, trinkets and discoveries fill cabinets and the walls for you to look at whilst you wait. Lizzie was fantastic at pointing out "Harry Potter" discoveries to our daughter, who was nervous, and put her at ease. The briefing done, we enter and the adventure begun... no spoilers here, but I shall say, the hour whizzed by and we escaped with 4 minutes to spare! The attention to detail is outstanding, not an inch of space is wasted, and some items are used two or three times. With plenty of "oh that's what it's for" and "we need to find" moments you are busy from start till finish. I am honestly in awe of the ingenuity of the creators, as this is something else! Highly atmospheric and like playing a real life version of Myst with some aspects of the Crystal Maze, Indiana Jones and The Room all in one. Loads of puzzles, loads of secrets, and loads of clever technical stuff. You need to work as a team, and help each other, but there is no space for anyone to take a back seat as you all have to help in parts. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish there was more to do! We are looking forward to the new experience as we will be back to tackle that one too! Highly recommended as this is an escape room I doubt can be beaten!

Westbourne

Westbourne Urban Village is a unique shopping and food destination right in between Bournemouth & Poole. With a diverse selection of independent businesses you will find everything from fashion to food that you just won't find on the High Street.

Love the old fashioned feel to Westbourne village, seems like a close knit community. Lots of lovely cafes, good greek restaurant, old arcade with lovely vintage type shops selling gifts, bought a beautiful silver/pearl handled small magnifying glass as a birthday present for my sister, very unusual. If you go here make sure you go to Chocol8 a lovely cafe which also sells beautiful chocolates!

Fantastic views, free entry, interesting information and fun little free attractions? What's not to love?! Of course, the stalls there are a little overpriced but that's to be expected from a touristy thing but you are free to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Vitality Stadium

Reviewed By WolfieSurrey88 - Surrey, United Kingdom

I’ve been coming here (and its predecessor) for decades. It is so pleasing that much of the matchday experience (other than the quality of football!) remains the same. Very friendly welcome team, very reasonably-priced food (and good pies) and excellent viewing from all round. Manageable queues for refreshments and “facilities”. While the size of the ground presents problems for many trying to get tickets, for the lucky few it affords a proximity to the pitch and sense of involvement which is unmatched at any other Premier League ground I have been to. Free on-street parking within a few minutes’ walk is readily available if you get there an hour or so before kick-off, again better than anywhere else in the PL (top tip: head away from the town centre on exit and loop back to avoid getting snarled in the other direction. I’m generally on the free-flowing dual carriageway out of town about 10 mins after the game.)
