We have shopped at The Plant Place for many years and they have a great variety of plants, shrubs, fruit trees and gardening products. The staff are really friendly and very helpful. It was great to be able to go back after the lockdown and the social distancing procedures are in place so shop with confidence. Support your local garden centre.

Wayfarers Shopping Arcade

Reviewed By bobbythomas153 - Southport, United Kingdom

I am a Southport resident and visit this wonderful and beautiful grand Victorian Shopping Arcade on a weekly basis. I go wow and i never tire of visiting this beautiful place. This one of many most beautiful gems found in our great town. The great glass roof lets in wonderful amounts of natural light that make it feel bright and airy. The Shop fronts and doors are made from great dark wood that adds to the beauty and charm of the place. The stair cases are lovely and the banister rails are wooden and the banisters are beautifully carved out in a green lovely metal with a red rose engraved on them. I love the lighting in the ceiling which was restored to look like the original lighting from the Victorian era. I would highly recommend you visit the wayfarers arcade when you are in Southport and bring a camera to capture memories of this beautiful place. This is a must see on any to do list. This actuation is highly accessible for all people young and old those in wheel chairs and those with prams as its all on the flat on ground level and there is a lift to the upper levels. I am an adult with autism and i feel comfortable vising the arcade and i don't personally myself experience any sensory overbroad and i feel it is autism friendly.
