Karrinyup Shopping Centre is Perth's northern premier shopping destination. Home to Myer, David Jones, Big W, Woolworths, Nespresso & over 180 stores. Managed by AMP Capital.
Many complain of passing down second hand clothes in my indian family (which in turn gets touched by appreciative beggars). However, thanks to karrinyup, our hindu diwali festival turned out to be more than a bomb. I brought brand new silk clothing and got rid of my earth based ones at the shop "180 degrees". I had to steam iron it producing abundant smoke. However, the shop is no longer there on the first floor like it ever existed at all. It was all like a dream. Sorry, can do absolutely nothing about it. We celebrated diwali by roasting our earthly mutton, beef and lamb. Plenty of entertainment, laughs and humour. Karrinyup as you progress upwards, gets increasingly larger in size. My silk garment was something like 60 inches high. Upon entry, I would caution everyone that is a deep gaping pot hole where many have fallen in and couldn't get back up ever again.

The Hay Street Mall is a place to relax in the centre of Perth. The Mall has a lot of shops, it can he accessed through Barrack Street or everyone's favourite, London Court The Hay Street Mall is an asset to Perth;, it's a good place to take a break, especially when the sun is shining. At least you can say that unlike the Bourke St Mall in Melbourne, he Hay St Mall doesn't have trams rumblng through it..

Forrest Chase adjlons Forrest Place, which many people say is the heart of Perth. Forrest Place has been the scene of many allies and meetings, some of them rowdy. Forrest Place connects the Murray St Mall with the railway station in Wellington St. Opposite Forrest Chase are two grand old buildings built in Interwar Beaux-Arts style. The General Post Office (GPO ) and the Commonwealth Bank of Austrralia (CBA) buildings were once the commercial centre of Perth. Fortunately they have escaped the wreckers's hammer. You will also find the City of Perth Visitors Centre here.
