The Danbury Fair Mall has lots of options. You can just walk the halls and find familiar and unique specialty shops to find fun things you didn't know you needed. Also people come to just walk for exercise. There are plenty of choices at the Food Emporium complete with a Merry-Go-Round. Plus there are excellent restaurants on the Mall grounds.

I normally don't like shopping, as I find it stressful, but I do enjoy coming here. It's a well-light mall with a lot of stores and is generally pretty busy, even in the shopping off-seasons. It doesn't have the rundown, derelict feeling that many malls have, now that so many stores are closing. There isn't a centralized food court, but there are some good restaurants, and there's plenty of parking.

love this new mall. I grew up here so I wasn't excited that a mall was being built in my small comfy town. But this mall is not like other malls. First, reviewers are complaining about paying to park, well, this is the trend everywhere, you can't park in Norwalk or most places without paying and 1 dollar an hour is not bad. If you go to the Westchester Mall, it's 3 dollars even if you stay for LESS than three hours, this mall gIves you the option of paying 1 dollar if you only stay for an hour. There are several ways to pay as mentioned, Pay Station and via Parking App. Next, there is no food court, personally I'm happy about that, instead on the fourth floor you have restaurants and out side there is a space created for food trucks, in addition there are the kiosks for pretzels, gelato, and popups for local restaurants to temporarily give you a taste of their menu.
