I spent a week with Dean learning the basics of leaded and foiled stained glass as well as a little fusing. The balance between instruction & direction, and being left to explore my own ideas, was just right. Working alongside the participants in Dean’s regular weekly classes was a great source of ideas, motivation and fun. I left with some lovely pieces of glass work and tons of inspiration. Thank you!

Arm Knitting Workshop.... What a fab way to spend a couple of hours. I've learnt a new skill and come home with a lovely blanket. Lizzie was a great teacher and absolutely no pre skills are needed to be successful in this class. Really recommend

In common with a surprisingly large number of purveyors of speciality and quality food and drink, Market Plaice now deliver to us at home in a Victorian inner suburb. We order our choice of fish and seafood from their very large list online and they bring it to the door. Although there is limited competition, we reckon that the prices are fair and make this an attractive option. It seems likely that as the Coronavirus restrictions ease up we and many of our neighbours will continue to have the deliveries which are very convenient and avoid the hassle of parking in the city centre and the dangers of shopping amongst strangers and those disinclined to follow health guidance.

The Box is temporarily closed but is planning to re-open on Tuesday 18 May. Tickets will be available to book from mid-April. The Box is Plymouth’s major new museum, art gallery and archive. A place where the city’s heritage meets contemporary art; where archives meet interaction; and where the Mayflower meets a mammoth. It's also home to The Box Kitchen & Bar, a shop, education and research spaces.
A lot of money has been well spent on this attraction. We found the whole experience exciting and informative and the use of interactive displays very rewarding. We finished with a meal in the restaurant whish was excellent.
