Orange is a city located in Orange County, California. It is approximately 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) north of the county seat, Santa Ana. Orange is unusual in this region because many of the homes in its Old Town District were built prior to 1920. While many other cities in the region demolished such houses in the 1960s, Orange decided to preserve them. The small city of Villa Park is surrounded by the city of Orange. The population was 139,812 as of 2014.

Old Towne is such a great place to visit and you could easily spend half a day here. There’s this nostalgic feel as you walk the streets. The shops that line Glassell are mostly vintage in nature or are antique shops loaded with every kind of antique you could imagine. It’s a collector’s dream as you’ll find vintage glassware, clothes, toys, furniture, etc. It’s like time traveling through history as you go from one store to the next. Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, it’s really fun to look. There’s also lots of little places to eat and even a Starbucks in an old bank building that’s great when you need a boost of caffeine. My recommendation is to bring good walking shoes. Parking is available on the streets at no charge or there’s public parking in structures nearby.

We found this outlet mall walking distance from our hotel so decided to go. The mall has many shops and outlets plus many restaurants with great food plus a kind of fast food area which has many of the standard fast food outlets. Great to work around with many great deals. Nice atmosphere as relaxed with music in the background which was nice.
