If you're a wine lover who wants to ask a lot of questions, we have a truly friendly winery experience waiting for you. We offer 20-minute, complimentary public tours daily at 2:00 pm as well as group and bus tours by reservation that take you behind the scenes of Magnotta's state-of-the-art winemaking facilities. Special VIP private tours are also available. Nestled in the heart of Ontario's Niagara wine region, located 20 minutes from Hamilton directly off the QEW Niagara (Exit 64), our Beamsville winery houses Magnotta's expansive production facilities. This tour takes you behind the scenes where grapes from Magnotta's own Niagara vineyards are crushed and pressed. See the Harvest Room and get a close-up look at the Icewine presses used to make Canada's most award winning Icewines. Beamsville also features Ontario's first Amarone-style VQA Wine Drying Room. You may even experience a rare treat and see a real cooper (barrel maker) working on-site. Then, head over to the complimentary tasting bar to sample several of Magnotta's world-class wines. This location also features displays of original artwork by local and international artists which have inspired Magnotta's wine label designs.
love the French Blend wine (red & white) and I can also order my Magnotta & Grand River beer in advance, thanks for staying open and keeping us safe during the pandemic, you guys who work there are the best.

Upper Canada cheese is a working creamery, crafting fine cheeses by hand from pure Guernsey Milk. Our A2 milk comes from a single herd pastured nearby on the Comfort Farm. Watch our cheeses being made and browse our gourmet boutique filled with cheeses and specialty items.
We decided to take a drive to kill time and came across Upper Canada Cheese Company and decided to stop in. They had excellent measures in place to help with social distancing. We didn't look around for long because there was a 3 person maximum in the store and people were waiting. We bought cheese curds, pepperettes and butter tarts. All were absolutely delicious. The cheese curds were the best I've EVER had. We'll definitely be back when we're in the Niagara region again. Hopefully life will nearly be back to normal by then so we can actually look at everything they have.

A great antique market with easy access to the QEW. I could spend hours looking through the multiple buildings/floors of antiques and collectibles. Good prices on most things, friendly vendors, great selection - you will find most things here. The only downside was that we were there on the hottest day of the year (July 9th) and we roasted, especially in the attic of one building. I will be back when it is a little cooler, and suggest you go on a cool day. Also, be prepared to climb stairs, so not accessible. I picked up a book and glassware - guaranteed you will find something here. Very enjoyable!

Loved this shop! So many products from local farms, and the cutest cats outside :) And goats and chickens....... cuteness overload. We bought our dinners for a few nights and cannot wait to try them!
