The Kansai region (関西地方, Kansai-chihō) or the Kinki region (近畿地方, Kinki-chihō) lies in the southern-central region of Japan's main island Honshū. The region includes the prefectures of Mie, Nara, Wakayama, Kyoto, Osaka, Hyōgo and Shiga, sometimes Fukui, Tokushima and Tottori. While the use of the terms "Kansai" and "Kinki" have changed over history, in most modern contexts the use of the two terms is interchangeable. The urban region of Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto (Keihanshin region) is the second-most populated in Japan after the Greater Tokyo Area.

Great facility where children and adults can have fun together through 'seeing, 'experiencing', 'learning' and 'eating'. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the beautiful garden in harmony with its natural surroundings and satisfy your appetite at an authentic buffet-styled restaurant, barbecue restaurant, and cafe. You can also enjoy making crafts or bread at our workshops. "Shaun the Sheep Farm garden", the new spot where "Shaun the Sheep" is brought to life in the real world, has opened on the hillside of Rosa & Berry Tawada!

Namba Parks is a massive shopping and office complex with a stunning eight-level rooftop garden spanning several city blocks perched atop boutique shops, specialty stores, and restaurants.
Come to this park and have a chill time with all the deer. They are so friendly. Playing with them is a must. Buy some food and give to them. It is so lovely.

The Rinku Premium Outlets are near Kansai Airport and offer considerable discounts on high-end Japanese and international brands at 210 stores. Outlets include Michael Kors, Gucci, Nike, and Seiko.
As mentioned in many posts, this place is one stop before Kansai airport if you are coming from Osaka city on the Nankai Express. I find the goods here are much cheaper than those shops selling in Osaka city. Got a great pair of Ascis shoes which is cheaper by around 4000 yen. Highly recommended if you have the time for shopping. There is also a place to store your luggage if you are catching a flight off Kansai airport after your shopping.
