For over 40 years the society has presented a varied selection of local art and craft work in it's exhibition spaces. Today local people and visitors to Ilfracombe can enjoy a relaxing visit to our modern spacious gallery which is located along The Promenade, just along from Wetherspoon's The Admiral Collingwood. Access to the gallery for wheelchairs is easy. We are less than 30 seconds walk from the bus stop. There's ample parking space opposite in the Landmark Theatre car park. Dogs always welcome! Today we average over 40,000 visitors each season and have maintained our ambition to support local charities. Over the last 40 years the society has donated close on £100,000 to local causes and has now become a register charity itself (Registered Charity Number 1168685).

Indoor Market with a variety of stalls selling all sorts of interesting things to browse through. Some are new, some vintage but most are quirky. There's also a cafe open in the Indoor Market which is run by Coffee Break with lots of yummy things on their menu.
