This is such a great place to visit in Hythe Kent only open two days a week Friday and Saturaday well worth a visit with all the stalls love the dolls house section

Obidosh is one of the more fun and unique gift shop we have come across. The shop itself is quaint, cozy with wooden floors that are typical in older buildings. The owner is on hand herself often and provides quality assistance as does the entire staff. The shop offers one of a kind gifts, cards for all ages as well as items that are locally made/handcrafted. One can find upscale gifts as well as whimsical items for fun.

Elysian Treasures can be found in the beautiful historic Cinque port town of Hythe, on the South Coast, boasting one of the longest high streets in the U.K with some wonderful,interesting independent shops. Elysian Treasures stocks silver and costume jewellery,scarves and vintage inspired gifts. Here at Elysian Treasures we are passionate about vintage and we now stock furniture, ceramics, records and clothing ranging from 1920s Art Deco to the flamboyant 1980s. We also love to showcase local artisans and we stock a wide range of handmade bunting (this can be personalised), cushions, jewellery and hair accessories all produced by talented local artisans. You can find some great cards & posters of local sights printed from original works by local artist Deborah Woodward and Andy Tuohy. A lovely interesting little shop where I bought a cluster of starfish to hang on my wall. A few minutes after leaving the shop, the gentleman who served me came running down the street after me as he had mistakenly overcharged me and was returning a £5 note to me. Wow! Indeed. Honesty like that doesn’t happen every day and I was delighted. Ps. Great social distancing and COVID precautions too ????????
