Full of wonderful antiques and vintage items, including retro 30's and 40's clothing and stunning antique furniture, a visit to the Horncastle Antiques Centre is one not to be missed! The beautiful blue and white building-itself an historic building worth seeing-stands on the corner of Bridge Street and West Street in this small market town. It is full of 3 floors of the most amazing antiques and wonderful vintage and retro items. The owner, Patricia, is wonderfully friendly and helpful, and full of knowledge should you need help. Definitely worth a visit. The only problem you will have at this remarkable place is leaving empty-handed!

Lovely treasure trove of antiques and lovely lady who was running it. She educated us on an antique bit of mystery iron work that came with our house - it’s a horse’s Hame! Who knew! Hehe! Definitely worth a visit.

Laurence has been in the trade a long time and has, in my opinion, the finest selection of well chosen antiques in a town brimming with antique shops. I have bought some fine examples of 18th and 19th Century glass over the years along with similar aged pewter, an unusual iron pig feeding trough, some good vintage books on antique glass and the odd interesting Treen items. You can park on the street outside, entry is into the main shop following through to an outside area for the more agricultural (waterproof) items and on to the outer sheds with more eclectic items that are generally cheaper than the main shop. If you are short on time this is certainly one to visit. During the Covid pandemic the shop is open more than usual as none of the major Fairs are on, once they resume you ought to check business hours. Laurence is very personable and like most dealers prepared to negotiate within reason. I highly recommend this emporium.

This and the other branch in the old Co-op Shop on North Street are the best antique shops in Horncastle. At least you stand a chance of getting a bargain in these two. The Old Co-op is incredible and should be seen to be believed.

We found this antique shop just outside the main part of the town. It has a lovely window and looked quite small from the outside. We were greeted by two friendly ladies who were happy to help if we needed to look at anything. The shop goes back a long way with another couple of rooms to explore with vintage and antiques to browse. Really worth visiting if you are in Horncastle especially if you are on the antiques trail.
