After reading the other reviews, we knew this was a place we had to check out. Thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there but be prepared for the crowd if you go! I think everyone in the town of Floyd is in the Country Store on Friday nights! One thing I did not read in the other reviews is that it does cost $8 per person. The music was great, the people were friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the clogging, two-stepping, and square dancing!

We love this thrift shop and have visited often over the years. The deals can't be beat. Great selection of items! One suggestion we would make is to please considering being open on a Wed. or Thurs.--it would mean the world to many of your buyers. We understand this shop is run only by volunteers and that hours are limited. But being open mid week for just one additional day would increase your revenue and put a smile on many faces!

Schoolhouse has wonderful fabrics, for the quilter, the costume maker, the home tailor, or the upholsterer. I come frequently, to things I need to make things I see in my head and need to make. The fabrics are fab -- catch all the glittery stuff in the very back room down the stairs, or check out all the quilting fabrics. The staff is always so helpful. I love to browse this place, and I spend too much money here, but it always makes me happy.

This is a wonderful little gallery. If you are looking for unique gifts, or something special for yourself, this is the place to go! I also really appreciate the fact that the owners support the Humane Society and animal welfare, and there are often cats around that are being cared for and for adoption. Anyone who takes their time out to better the lives of animals is a good person, and a business that I want to support! I highly recommend supporting this lovely gallery.
