Contemporary Art Gallery, Workshop and Studio Yebo was established in 2010 by local artists Pete, Aleta & Dane Armstrong. The goal was to set up a contemporary art gallery that showcased the best of art and design in Eswatini while breaking away from old-fashioned stereotypes of African art. Yebo works together with the most talented professional and emerging artists in Eswatini, giving them the opportunity to gain wider domestic and international recognition. To date Yebo has curated 40 exhibitions working with over 80 artists. Yebo’s vision for the next five years is to focus on environmental and social challenges, using art as a tool to tackle issues like climate change, women’s rights and youth unemployment. Yebo is passionate about promoting the fine arts and enabling the growth of Eswatini’s creative economy
A unique spot with wonderful contemporary art and quality design from artists and artisans in Eswatini - you can also see the workshop space around the back and get a cup of coffee or tea ;)

Swaziland has a rich history, and provides a myriad of activities to suit each individual preference. But there is so much more to explore! Shops such as Traditional Swazi Craft Markets will definitely appeal to all. There are two traditional Swazi craft markets close by - one at the Royal Swazi Sun's entrance, and another along the main road, next to the Ezulwini Sun.

It is said the candle makers around here use an ancient technique "Millefiori", which surfaced in ancient Alexandria and was later perfected by the glass creators in Murano. The reality is they are beautifully intricate in colour and design. One can actually see one of the candle makers mastering his art prior to heading to the shop that displays a huge variety of candles of all shapes and colours. Once you walk out there are quite a number of other craft shops worth exploring.
