Started by the legendary country music artist Ernest Tubb in 1947. Ernest Tubb was a member of the Grand Ole Opry, country Music Hall of Fame and Music City Hall of Fame. We offer music lovers a large selection of Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Music, Cd's, DVD's, Books, Songbook's & Instructional materials. Free concerts at all locations throughout the year.
The Ernest Tubb Record Shop is conveniently located along Broadway Street (where Nashville's famed honky tonk pubs/restaurants are lined up). Essentially a shop selling a big collection of CDs on country music, it also displays vintage items and pictures on country music on the wall and the rear end of the shop. Ernest Tubb's LPs were sold as CD-Rs at around $9++: these seem expensive considering the fact that they were CD-Rs (rather than original CDs), and dwindling population of CD stores worldwide. Staff were friendly.

Candy abounds at Rocket Fizz and all the different colors of wrappers, etc. are so appealing to the eyes. The shop also features tin signs on the walls and upstairs, and fun knock knacks around the store. They sell a variety of flavored sodas as well. My kids had a blast picking out all kinds of candy. It was fun seeing some of the candies from my youth.
