Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

One of America's finest hat stores.
We passed this shop closed late one night and made a big mental note to come back. The store window was enough to tempt us! We stopped by late in the afternoon and SO enjoyed our experience. My husband was delighted to find a fine wool cap made in Italy that suits his style and temperament. Well made and perfectly sized, we spent an enjoyable half an hour trying on whatever caught our eye- and we will be back. I found the staff was SUPER- friendly, knowledgeable and willing to pull out all the stops. I felt charmed and valued- not just a possible sale. The hats are not cheap but they are great value for the price.
