Located in the southwestern part of Switzerland, in its French-speaking part between Lake Geneva and Lake Neuchâtel, the Canton of Vaud is a vacation destination where life is good. Easily accessible thanks to the proximity of Geneva international airport and an exceptionally dense public transport network, the region offers all the necessary infrastructures, from five-star palaces to charming guest rooms. The diversity of its landscapes, from the peaks of the Alps, to the lakeside towns of Lausanne and Montreux, to the wide open spaces of the Jura and the authentic charm of the countryside, concentrates all the facets of Switzerland in one territory. The beautiful towns and villages, such as Lausanne, Montreux, Nyon, Morges and Yverdon-les-Bains, are steeped in centuries of history and rich in captivating culture. This region has influenced and inspired artists over the years, from Lord Byron and Audrey Hepburn to Charlie Chaplin and Freddie Mercury. But the region is best known for its art of living. Local or internationally renowned events, outdoor sports activities, regional know-how, typical and high level gastronomy, excellent wines, living traditions, cultural offer... are all elements that seduce visitors.

Our art gallery stands on the beautiful grounds of the Villa Murillo, in Clarens/Montreux. The Villa was built between 1894 and 1897 following the vision of a well-known architect - Eugène Jost, right in front of the Leman Lake. It offers a privileged point of view on the Dents du Midi. In an atmosphere full of history, you will find contemporary established names as well as new young talents.

The oldest family store in the city, founded in 1902 and remained unchanged until today. Specialized in various Swiss souvenirs, Swiss knives, cuckoo, bell, music box and various small souvenirs. Open every day in summer season.
We live close to Lausanne, so we know this store very well. We go there every time we look for a nice Swiss souvenir for our friends and visitors, and we have never been disappointed. The choice is excellent and the prices correct, with items for all budgets. Furthermore, the people running the store are extremely kind and always ready to help: they make the customers feel as part of the family. I particularly recommend the Bazar d'Ouchy for Swiss army knives (a very extensive selection) and for music boxes, starting from very inexpensive but with some high-level choices. I advise a visit whenever you are in Lausanne: with the metro, you can get there very easily, and Ouchy is also a very nice place to see.
