Great collection of local artist's work. If you are looking for something to remind you of your trip to coastal Maine (Downeast), this place is one-stop shopping. Purchased an item perfect for completing a room in our home in Tampa and Susan shipped it directly to us. Great place to bring home some truly unique art.

Eventide Specialties is a very special place in the center of Boothbay Harbor and the perfect place for fresh baked breads, delicious cheeses, specialty items and an entire room dedicated to olive oils and vinegars. The staff are kind and knowledgable.

OPEN MEMORIAL DAY THRU EARLY OCTOBER. This is a seasonal, one-woman working studio with all pottery being made on-site by the shop owner. The potter's wheel is located in the front of the shop and customers are encouraged to watch Julie throwing her pieces there. The glaze/kiln area is open for viewing as well. Questions about the pots and process are always welcome. Her work focuses on functional, practical pottery meant to be used and to enhance your quality of life on a daily basis. Functional pottery - Art for everyday life!
Just received my beautiful new shaving scuttle. It's heats the lather perfectly and helps give me an awesome shave. I highly recommend Dirty Bird Pottery!

Located in the Visitor Center at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the Gift Shop proudly features the work of over 85 Maine artisans alongside gardening tools, cookbooks, hats, jewelry, and more. The Shop also carries a selection of fairy-themed products perfect for the weekly "Fairy Fridays" held at the Gardens in July and August.
The gift shop is truly lovely. I love to purchase gifts for people when traveling and this was the perfect spot to select beautiful, unique gifts for friends and family. They offer books (for children and adults), beautiful t-shirts, jewelry, fruit preserves, gardening items, and they even have a fairy section.

I stop by here every time I'm in town for the summer. Terrific collection for gifts (and for self!). The annual calendar is a fixture in my study, and never fails to transport me to the Maine coast with just a glance.
