Due to COVID we were lucky enough to be the only two on our tour. As we had both been to Rome before our guide, Arthur, asked us what we wanted to see. We said we had done the main tourist attractions we were more interested in hidden gems and good places for food and drink. Arthur did a fantastic job. Completely off script his encyclopaedic knowledge of the city shone through. He knows every crack in every cobble and which Roman emperor put it there! He was super engaging and friendly and gave us more tips than we will be able to fit in on this trip- we’ll just have to come again! The tour was a highlight of the holiday, for us. Thanks Arthur.

The Borghese Gallery is an amazing Roman jewel. Someone recommended it and we were able to add this to our time in Rome. Taking a tour was the best choice as the stories behind the art and the hidden info on the creation of the art are so important to understanding what took place as it was collected. While I had to choose a 2020 date, our tour was in October 2019 so there was no pandemic and no need for masks!

Before the pandemic, my wife and I (normally some friends too) try to squeeze in as many weekend breaks as possible. One of the best ways to see and learn about a city, in our opinion, is a Segway tour. You get the luxury of being able to cover great lengths in a fairly short time, without the sweaty back and painful feet. It was therefore a must for us to do this tour whilst in Athens. We were blessed by the Ancient Greek gods to have stumbled upon Athens City Segway Tours and in particular Chryssiis, our tour guide. She was fun, informative, professional plus her English was near native. Having done multiple city tours by foot and by Segway, this was bar far the best one we had done, largely thanks to Chryssiis. We highly recommend the 3 hour tour as it flew by. There is so much to see and soak in that anything less would be an injustice.

Last Saturday we did the Best of Athen Segway Tour and were so lucky to have a private tour with Vana. She is such a nice guide and showed us a lot of nice and interesting places around the city. It was our first Segway Tour and will definitely not be our last one. It made sooo much fun - we can hardly recommend it.

We came to Rome on our honeymoon and originally wanted to do the Segway tour, but unfortunately Segway’s were banned in Rome just before we came, so Alex was kind enough to offer us the golf cart tour instead! It was a fascinating tour of all the highlights of Rome, and Alex was extremely knowledgable and fed us with a wealth of information about each sight we visited! It was a fun and original way to tour the city of Rome- highly recommended!
