Porto di Vernazza is the old harbour of the tiny town called Vernazza in Cinque Terre National Park, in La Spezia Region, in the North of Italy. It is the most beautiful place in the town, where you can see wonderful views of the town, the sea and the coast. I love the Red Carpet walk. The carpet has been gone for a while, but the walk is still fantastic. Every turn has amazing views of the coast, and villas and cliffs and beaches. Mostly an easy walk, and not crowded at all. It is so cool. It is a dedicated path, separated from the road. A few parts are still being repaired from last year's storm and at those places you have to walk in the road or on beautiful trails in the hills, but it is safe and this is only for a small part of the walk. Treat yourself to one of the prettiest walks in Italy.
