Bray Promenade

Bray promenade has been in existence for years. It's a super place to walk and the views of Bray head and the sea are amazing. Really wonderful place for a family to enjoy and the beach is stony but a good spot to swim. Recommended.

Kilmore Quay Harbour

Reviewed By jamiek609 - Carlow, Ireland

Have been here many times and the upkeep is excellent. They have a great walk and is dog friendly with dog poo bags and bins in a couple of spots . There is a nice beach for swimming or relaxing too . Can be busy In the high season but they have a big carpark as you drive into the quay . The sea air is really fresh and worth a visit anytime of the year .

Very tranquil, alfresco dining right on the bank with the Richmond inn right beside the harbour. Nice place to stop for food on your way through Longford.

Lough Boora Discovery Park

Reviewed By Tiafleur84 - Dublin, Ireland

My boyfriend and I visited the park in august 2020 and had a lovely day! Parking was free possibly due to covid and unfortunately the cafe closes early which we hadn’t realised. There’s so much to do and see and you can rent bikes there too. We had a lovely couple of hours there and would have stayed longer if the weather hadn’t turned!
