It is a nice excursion place for the Family. There is a nice path from Normafa to Janoshegy / Elisabeth look-out tower. You could choose concrete or small-pebble road / path. (It is around 2,5 km in the forest. It is not a problem if you have a baby carriage.) There is a nice playground for the babies or kids. You could try the Hungarian "retes" and "langos" fast foods. The forest path is in good condition and clean. The playground is in good condition and clean. The forest and the city panorama view is very nice. There is not so many parking places so better to use the public transport for travelling.

Gozsdu: where past and present meet. Gozsdu Courtyard is one of the most dynamically improving centres in downtown Budapest; it is a meeting point that combines entertainment, gastronomy and culture. The entertainment quarter is awaiting its guests with uniquely exciting programmes every day of the week. The Courtyard makes room for countless places (restaurants/bars/cafés/pubs), representing extraordinary styles, thus providing colourful experience for all generations. It attracts more than 900,000 visitors per annum; due to its cosmopolitan nature it has become extremely popular among residents of Budapest and tourists as well. CULTURE. FUN. STYLE. GOZSDU COURTYARD
Recently traveled to Budapest and discovered this fabulous collection of connected courtyards filled with great restaurants, fun bars and interesting shops. This is the hippest spot in town filled with tourists and locals alike, housed in the old Jewish Quarter and open until the wee hours of the night. Such a variety of excellent food and music it was hard to decide which to choose. Wish we had more time to try them all !

This place is breathtaking! It fronts the river/lake and has a lot of small shops and eateries. If you need a break from the typical touristy places like castles, museums and souvenir shops, this town is just 15-20 minutes away from Budapest and can be reached by taxi. For 4 people you are better off taking a taxi rather than getting a tour guide as it is a popular destination and people are friendly to help you get you a taxi or show you directions. Szentendre bursts at the charming cobbled streets with plenty of art galleries and independent craft shops. The town is filled with surprising alleys and you can climb all the way up to see its overall view at your own pace; taking your time by stopping to enjoy ice-cream, coffee or a beautiful painting or work of art. A must see if you are in Budapest especially if you wish to run away from the hustle bustles of a city.

Located in the middle of the Hősök tere, or Heroe's Square, this is a fantastic Monument. Often yu see buses or groups of walking tourists with a guide taking many photos and attentively listening to the explanations of the 18 statues of this monument. Yes, that many! It has a great column in centre with a Statue which depicts Archangel Gabriel, who holds the Hungarian Holy Crown and the apostolic double cross in his hands. At the base of the column are the statues of the Seven chieftains of the Magyars There are two colonnades with statues. It is a good test to see how much you know of Hungarian Heroes :-) I loved to visit this monument.
