National shrine known for its superb religious art including the giant bell of Zygmunt of 1520, one of the world's largest, and the burial place of many Polish kings and their families, national heroes and numerous bishops.
Great and very intresting trip to Wawel and the Royal Cathedral on Wawel Hill Visiting the Royal Tombs to see the last resting place of Polish monarchs and national heroes also visiting the Pope John Paul II Cathedral Museum. Worth the visit but the ticket office on our visit was hectic.

This huge parish church is known for its magnificent Baroque ornamentation in the chapels of the Holy Cross, which feature a 16th-century crucifix and the Virgin Mary.
During my wife’s and me tour of Poznan Old Town Square and the surrounding streets, we reached Golebia Street, which houses one of the most amazing churches we have ever visited in the past, the Parish Church of St. Stanislaus (Fara Church). These sights are amazing and highly recommended. The Parish Church of St. Stanislaus church is amazing and stunning with wonderful designs and decoration both on its exterior and especially the richness of the interior space. Beautifully designed pillars, spectacular ceilings and plenty of spectacular elements in every corner and any direction you turn your eyes to. A site that must not be missed !!!

This church originally was built in the second half of 14th century and it has castle-like appearance. It is a good example of Warmia Gothic architecture . It is located just a short walk from the old square. The beautiful interior includes Gothic, late-Renaissance, and Baroque art elements. The bronze 2000 door is the new addition and complements the much older character of the church. This beautiful house of worship features often organ concerts but the easiest way to hear it is during the mass. Masses take place here daily several times a day.

The holiest place in Poland and one of the world’s most important destinations for pilgrims. Every year several million pilgrims pray before the miraculous picture of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
Czestochowa is a lively city in the south of Poland with a rich religious history. The city is well-known for its stunning Pauline Monastery of Jasna Gora. Every year, millions of pilgrims from all over the world come here to pay homage to the shrine and enjoy the peace that this holy place gives. The greatest treasure of the imposing Jasna Gora complex is the ancient miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary (Black Madonna) which origin is a mystery. Thanks to this beautiful painting, Jasna Gora became one of the largest Marian sanctuaries in Poland since the 15th century. There, it has been worshiped in desperate moments, especially during large-scale disasters such as epidemics. A characteristic feature of the famous icon are the scars on the face of the Our Lady of Czestochowa. Jasna Gora's Lady bears signs of wounds and pain. Pope Saint John Paul II visited over five times. Pope Benedict XVI and Pope Francis also have visited Jasna Gora. All in all, this huge monastic complex is well worth a visit. It houses an incredible collection of treasures. The work of art is impressive. Each building features fascinating exhibits. Highly recommended.

One of the nicest city sights in Karpacz. A Norwegian XII century wooden church is a charming place right at the gates of the National Park. Nice place to visit before going on a hike or on a lazy day

A magnificent temple with the tombstones of the Szydlowieccy family of the Odworąż coat of arms, among which is the main builder of Opatów's successes. A must-visit place during a stay in Świętokrzyskie - a pearl of Romanesque art in Poland. The Warsaw gate with a slightly changed tower than the original one and the underground route - a great thing.
