The largest former church in Famagusta, built by the French in flamboyant Gothic style, and weathered to gold by the Eastern sun and winds. The Turks added a sleek minaret, and kept the interior empty and white, doing a great service to its sleek ogival arches and columns.

If you are in Paralimni and near the Square, then you cannot fail to see the Agios Georgious Church. Beautifully designed and built and exceptionally well maintained. A true piece of Old Cyprus in amongst the Modern. Well worth a few minutes of your time to stop and admire. You will be glad you did.

Ayia Thekla is a small church overlooking the crystal blue waters of the sea it stands alone on the rocks the church is full of icons and a small cave nearby where you can leave a handwritten note and leave it in the wall crevices of the cave it is such a spriritual peaceful place a must see.
