Spent one night here as part of an intrepid tour. Arrived in the dark after a full day's hiking, so really pleased to find this peaceful, unique lodging. Rooms were upstairs to one side of the prayer spaces. Some of the group were in larger dorm style rooms. Our room had two large canopied beds. Clean, basic, functional space. Expect to wake to chanting in the early hours! Communal showers are available - just used to rinse off. Toilets were a highlight! Slightly al fresco and of the traditional communal squat variety! All part of the adventure. Cats and stick insects were included in the stay. A privilege. Must recommend Hard Wok Cafe for food and drink, you pass it at the last set of steps - splendid food!
