I visited the first time because I heard the Kirtan is great there. And it is! Especially on Sunday evenings. Don't miss it if you're into Kirtan music. If not, let your hungry soul be treated to an abnormally wonderful delicious vegetarian meal Sundays at 5pm. Actually that's the reason I came for a second time despite not having time for the evening Kirtan. I even brought my family along when we all were visiting Zurich. Mum loved it! Dad hummed along. If you come at 4pm, your mind will also benefit from a lecture. Be reminded you're not the body, but spirit soul. If it's hard to digest they serve that wonderful meal right after in case your body rebels. I had to somewhat convince my Dad to donate serious bills. For all that's offered, that's really fair. But the devotees and the whole vibe is so humble that it's easy to forget that we're still in a material world. All in all, a wonderful experience for your mind, your body and your soul.

This prominent 13th-century Gothic cathedral is perhaps best known for one of its more recent additions, stained-glass windows designed by Marc Chagall in the 1970s.
During a visit visit to Zurich, my husband and I visited the Fraumunster Church just after it opened at 12pm on a Sunday afternoon. The line to enter was out the door, but it did move quickly. The entrance fee of CHF 5/pp entitles you to entry as well as your choice of an audio guide or brochure. We'd highly recommend the audio guide which gives you a lot of information on each section of the church, a chance to "hear" the organ being played, a sample sermon, etc. Although the church is mostly very plainly adorned, the Chagall windows are stunning and worth the visit alone. We listened to the entire audio guide and visited the crypt museum beneath the church and spent about 1.5 hours here.

This twin tower church is located close to Grossmunster on the Limmat River. The architecture around the church is interesting and unique. Certainly worth visiting.
