INATORIGINSUISO is located on the east coast of Inatori Onsen of Izu. We are hot spring inn with a history of more than fifty years. "Hospitality" We believe it's the most important. There is a "customer expectations for service" slightly above "customers request". So think of is, is our "GINSUI people". We can understand it by each and every staff do their mind. And, it will come true in that we serve with a compassion. We believe so. Onsen with a origin, Izu of food, sea sparkling in silver, hearty dolls (it is called and hung chick) .... And we will provide the hospitality of GINSUI. We are looking forward to your visit.
About a two hour train ride away from Tokyo station, a fantastic Japanese inn with hot spring. Our room had a hot spring in our room which was great. Definitely recommend this place to get away from the city and just relax. The food was great as was the service.

D0gashima area on the west coast of the Izu boasts superb view and beautiful sunsets. Despite the distance of only about 3 hours from Tokyo, is a Japanese resort rich natural and human kindness coexist. Dogashima New Ginsui has the largest facilities and natural hot spring this area. In addition, our motto is just well comfortable service to our customers. We're looking forward to your visit.
Pros: This hotel's view is so incredible. We enjoyed the view from our room and the restaurant and each time took our breath away. The staff were very attentive and even gave small gifts to our children. The Japanese style rooms were lovely and the futon beds on the floor were very comfortable. The onsen was relaxing, well maintained and family friendly. Cons: We were a little disappointed to find all the pools drained during our stay. We were hoping the kids could enjoy the indoor pool but it was empty. Also the beach at the bottom of the hotel had quite a lot of rubbish on it. Plastic and rusted parts all over the rocky beach. It didn't seem safe for children. Maybe a beach best to look at from the hotel, but not visitors up close! We still loved our stay though.

I visited here in my family trip. The location of the hotel was a bit far from the nearest station, so I recommend to use a car or free shuttle. The room has two sub rooms and was big enough for four people (2 adults and 2 kids). The view from the room was good and nostalgic. The room has a shower, but the hot springs were so big and comfortable enough for you to get relaxed. We could play with several traditional Japanese toys outside. All the kids definitely love it. Free ramen was also served at 10pm ( I was not sure taste of it because I was in the bed...) Only one drawback was a location of the meals. We could not have them in the room but needed to go to restaurant. I understand that the upscale hotel cannot serve meals by each room, but the room was too cozy for me to get out!

First of all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner foods offered at the buffet is plentiful and delicious. The onsen has a nice atmosphere and there are many activities available in the facility. The view is beautiful, and the futons were comfortable (though we have no prior experiences to compare it to). However, the room was sadly lackluster. We paid almost $400AUD and got a room that was quite old. My partner has a tattoo and thus was not able to enter the onsens, but we were assured that there are bathtubs in our room. We were excited, only to find a very old, brown tile stained "bathtub" next to the shower which still had some soap residue on the faucet. Out of the 5 places we have stayed at during our trip to Japan, this was by far the most expensive (at least 3 times more per day) but the rooms were of worst quality.

This place offer high value for money! Recommend Pro: - Big ryokan, room is very spacious (in Japan standard) - 2 private onsen room (no extra cost), you can just use it when the room is free - Outdoor onsen and indoor hotbath available - Food is decent - Offer daily lounge for drink, and late night ramen snack (very yummy) - Service is nice - Location is great, right outside bus stop and you can walk around Shuzenji easily Con - You may hear the room next door as the structure is old, but we are feel it is acceptable

The room size is relatively smaller then those tatami rooms. The service staff are very good service. The onsen is average. This hotel is very near to the ferry point for the ferry to Shimizu. Overall is good hotel, but fif the price abit steed.

Plus, during your trip, don't forget to check out a park, such as Mine Onsen Daifunto Park. Enjoy your stay in Kawazu-cho!
Nice property on beach in Shimoda that less expensive than most inn neighbors; tatami rooms have ample space and mod cons; bath and rotemburo on 3rd floor are standard - sauna included - not certain about water origin - and does have ocean view as do most rooms; ground floor directly connects to big beach area that has lifeguard and not crowded despite public access; however, food is brutally expensive - dinner for family more than an overnight, and while rooms clean it appears during COVID hit on hospitality industry to be operating at break-even amenity services. Nice stay but not exceptional; parking and bus service to station.
